The new patch uses a newer version of the Visual C++ runtime library that you will need to update. Once you do the game will run.

For 64 bit you will want the x86 download.


Would have been handy if this update had been included in the patch. Here's to hoping it fixes some of the issues with 64 bit systems...

There already is a stickied thread on this.  If it's incomplete somehow, address that to the author of the thread in question.

The sticky is a compiled list... there were a half-dozen of these threads floating around...

Here's a simple tutorial on how I fixed a broken DLC package that was supposedly installed but not really working (conversations broken, quest markers not appearing, etc.) Worked for me, see if it helps.
