Wondering if there's a way to add element zero with a cheat, as I'd like to try different bonus powers without wasting tons of it that I'd want to use for other things.

Well, you could just use a memory editor to get yourself as much as you want.

Of course, if you don't know how to use one and/or are not comfortable messing with process memory, I wouldn't suggest it.

Mining is the most boring part of this game i would use a cheat. I hate scan planets.

There's a trainer you can download that adds you the resources you want, and credits if you feel that you need that too.

I use Cheat Engine to locate the memory adresses for the various minirals. It's fairly simple to use aswell. Select memory process (masseffect.exe) then select the size (2 bytes) add the current value 52000 press FIRSTSCAN. Go scan a planet and search for a cache of whatever resourse you're after. Probe it. New value is 53245 (example) go ack to editor and add 53245 then press next scan and voilla. Double click it then click on the 2 bytes and change it to 4 bytes. Click on the value and change it to whatever you desire. Repeat for all resources. Shouldnt take longer then 10 minutes to find them all and change it.

Once you've got all the resources changed go land somewhere, save the game. Close editor (no need to save the adress since they change per game) reload your savegame and you're set till the end .

Just use Gibbed's save editor.

You just open a save, and amazingly all the options for that stuff is there. Simple and saves you the hassle of scanning stupid planets.

Or you could just finish the game once and then get 50K starting Element Zero. Which is more than you ever need.
