The idea of Seth Green being oblivious to and suddenly realising the large crowd that would gladly give all its love to our dear pilot sounds very intriguing. Gaining Seth's support is one matter, but the ultimate power lies with the devs.
Although I'd be very interested to hear his opinion on the matter.

I totally have to go back and play that bit again now, I alays have a save for just before I go thrugh the Omega relay. Plus I have had the same Femshep since ME1 (tweaked her a bit in the new CC but she looks virtually the same) and I cant watch anything involving another femshep, it jsut seems...wrong to me. My femshep is 'the' femshep and I cant even make a renegade one lol.
I know exactly how you feel, I'm the same way with my femShep! xD

Lol, just THINKING about his reaction to a fan letter from all us just makes me giggle. Tee hee...ARGH I CAN'T STOP TEE-HEEING! Well if we were able to get his support he might be able to do a little 'wink-wink-nudge-nudge' in their direction, y'know. That is, if he's even for the idea, it'd be crushing to hear he wouldn't want to do romance dialogue. I'd totally tear. But we need to do the whole letter things sooner rather than later, the longer we wait the farther into the game they get and it'll seem even less likely for a Jokermance. Again, I'd tear...hardcore and then probably have to plan my femShep's ultimate sacrifice and all that crap.
Also, I think if we spam Mr. Green with loving letters about how much we love his portrayal of Joker maybe we'll see some kind of Robot Chicken spoof, oh tha'd be awesome...

Lol, give it time! They'll have to make fun of us sooner or later and I'm sure if we actually DO send a letter to him it'll probably urge him to make fun of us. Which wouldn't hurt my feelings, it'd totally make me fangirl even more...

I'm all for the petitioning and letter-writing btw...
And just adding to the Joker awesomeness, I think all the possible lines he has when turning back to his controls after the first talk you've had with him in the cockpit are fabulous - apart from "uh, leaaaather!", the way he says "Guh, you're such a downer!" (if you say it can't get worse than the last mission 'cause you died) is freaking hilarious, and also the line about taking his pants off later, for the off-hour cameras... (Also, when Shepard said "I guess I'm lucky you're still wearing pants...", did anyone else think "... or not so lucky, actually!"?

I totally agree, especially on the "wink-nudge" action...from what I've seen in vids, he seems to emit a rather persuasive vibe, for example if he tried to convince me into doing something (not too horrible) by throwing me some "Joker-talk", I would seriously consider it. Besides, doesn't he say himself he wouldn't mind Joker having some sweet loving, other than some fr@&%$king machine!?!?!<3
Moving right along, I think a concentrated effort, like a blatant, detailed manifesto filled with signatures, but not lacking in wit and charm throught its context, could be more effective that spamming, but I guess that's for anyone to decide.
Ah well, at the very least we have our fanfiction. Virtually anything can happen there. But I best prepare as well, to save Joker's life one final time, before the end, just to be on the safe side.

Ehehe, my Shepard would totally go for an answer like "Go on, don't mind me", more than "I'm lucky you're still wearing pants.."

A cyborg ould be way worse then an actualy human, i just makes me think of Robocop, yeah thats real sexy lol.\\
Besides EDI is a computer, she doesnt feel love, it'd be a hollow relationship imo.

It's right in the beginning, the first time you talk to him after acquiring the new Normandy before you've gone on any recruitment missions - when he's talking about the leather seats and the civilian sector-comfort that Cerberus supplies.RationalDelirium wrote...

I missed this one?! When do you have this banter?
Ehehe, my Shepard would totally go for an answer like "Go on, don't mind me", more than "I'm lucky you're still wearing pants.."
If you choose the answer in the middle of the conversation wheel (neither Paragon nor Renegade) it goes something like "Enjoy it, Joker. If we're stuck here we might as well let them pamper us."
And then Joker is like "Does it breach uniform reg if I get that on a crew shirt? 'Cause this is my favourite "you have no choice"-choice ever!"
And then Shep is like "Well, technically this is a civilian ship, so I'm probably lucky you're still wearing pants..."
And that's where Joker says he is saving that for later, heh.
... ok, now I've retyped the entire convo pretty much, but it's just so funny (and I think I'm turning into somewhat of a Joker fanatic) ^^
D'you think we could get Bioware to print "If we're stuck here we might as well let them pamper us!" on crew shirts for us to buy in the BW store, as a tribute to Joker?

We should probably take the letter writing thing back to group, though, put up a post, make a list of all the points we want in the letter (because saying Joker is awesome 30 times isn't a real point LOL) and figure out how many who's we should send it to ... it probably should be snail mailed, has a bigger impact than email.

I've got a great quote joker could do with Femshep.
Femshep: So joker you ready for that lovin?
Joker: Well sure commander where would you like to do it? In your bed or in the chair. Either way were still going to be watched by Miss mother dear!
EDI: And what is that supposed to mean?

Astronaut: A Short History of Nearly Nothing by Amanda Palmer. Kinda from Joker's POV, post ME1 and Shepard's death.
...
and is it getting harder to pretend
that life goes on without you in the wake
and can you see the means without the end
in the random frantic action that we take
and is it getting easy not to care
despite the many rings around your name
it isn’t funny and it isn’t fair
you’ve traveled all this way and it’s the same
but you are, my love, the astronaut
flying in the face of science
i will gladly stay an afterthought
just bring back some nice reminders
and i would tell them anything to see you split the evening
but as you see i do not have an awful lot to tell
everybody’s sick for something that they can find fascinating
everyone but you and even you aren’t feeling well
...
Near to You by A Fine Frenzy. Works very well if Shepard was with Kaidan or Liara in the first game.
...
You and I have something different
And I'm enjoying it cautiously
I'm battle scarred, I am working oh so hard
To get back to who I used to be
He's disappearing
Fading steadily
I'm so close to being yours
Won't you stay with me
Please
Near to you, I am healing
But it's taking so long
'Cause though he's gone
And you are wonderful
It's hard to move on
Yet, I'm better near to you.
...
Stellar by Incubus. Because awww.
Meet me in outer space.
We could spend the night;
watch the earth come up.
I've grown tired of that place;
won't you come with me?
We could start again.
How do you do it?
Make me feel like I do.
How do you do it?
It's better than I ever knew.
...
Anyone else have song ideas?

"You used to captivate me
By your resonating light
Now I'm bound by the life
you left behind
Your face it haunts
My once pleasant dreams
Your voice it chased away
All the sanity in me"
And here I stop, else I become diabetic

Okay, she's really not that funny...I wonder where her sense of humor is...Though my favorite moment was when she was in the er, one shop on the citadel with the salarian guy asking for a discount and she's all like 'I know exactly what you mean, one minute we're flying through space and the next, 'why's the ship turned around we're halfway there!" I had to lol and tell myself that she probably spends too much time with Joker and he's rubbing off on her. Also, accusing the asari in the souvenir shop of classism was priceless.
I think I had a point with that but lost it halfway through typing.
Oh, and thanks slyfox! I just read your message on ff.net!
Also, I'm pretty sure a cyborg body would weigh more than a human body, if everyone's so worried about Jeff's "precious glass pelvis" I think they have the wrong idea, in which case I have to use this:

Now I'm going to go frolick back to our little group where I won't have to hear stupid ideas about poor EDI. Going to try to come up with witty things to add to the letter thing that won't make me sound like a total loser!

Noooo don't go you can't give up the fight! Don't let them win! We need to show support for Joker/Shep love in as many venues as possible: letter writing, social groups, and on the forums. Squeaky wheels get the grease and all that.
Also I cannot get past how much I love the facepalm pic. Hee. Must find reason to use in other places.

Tee hee...ARGH, I can't stop the effing tee-heeing! But your right, we must ATTACK ON ALL FRONTS, I have a bunch of Joker fanart ideas, just don't know which ones to start on so I'ma just list them out, this way I CAN'T forget them...again.
Lessee:
-Valentine's Day themed picture/comic, I think I'm going to attempt a small comic, because I came up with a silly little idea last night.
-Support Jokermance, draw a badass lookin' Joker probably holding a lame sign or something, with equally lame/witty banter on the drawing.
-Normandy crew re-design, with the ending for ME2 when you pull a big F-U to the Illusive Man I figure you break off from Cerberus and become free-lance, so I want to redraw the crew in a different get up to show that they aren't Cerberus lackeys any longer!
-MASSIVE ME2 meme on deviantart, almost all 37 questions will have Joker...I can guarantee this because I am that lame.
Oh and then there's the fanfic. Boy am I busy with Joker-stuff...I should probably work on original art but...this ****e's too much fun!

Oh, and speaking of Joker's mom (whee random transition), did anyone else catch this line? At some point when you're hovering behind Joker's chair, he makes a comment about "If my mom could see me now, we'd have zombies on top of everything else."
I think that's my favorite quote. Yay, zombies!

I don't know that writing to Seth Green in order to beg for more Joker is a good idea. I know a lot of voice actors are given scripts and that's about it. He might even get into trouble for discussing the character outside of his contract.
When I went to Saboten Con, there were a ton of people asking Steve Blum about the status of the Wolverine cartoon. His best answer was to beg everyone to write to the studio and remind them that there's still a lot of bankable interest.
I think our best bet is to write to the BioWare producers and let them know that we're willing to pay for what we want. There's interest and they're missing a large market, if you catch my drift.

If he's not allowed to talk about it, I'm sure (if he responded at all) he'd say "You'd have to take that up with BioWare, I'm just a hired hand" sort of thing. It's not like we're going to be drunk-dialing him and begging him to refuse to be in ME3 if Joker isn't romance material. LOL

Been lurking here for awhile now, just decided to state my support!
Am I the only one who thinks that Joker would be scared ****-less if Shep were to voice feelings for him? I mean, has he ever been with a woman before anyway?
And Joker rocks!
