I'd prefer that Joker stays the way he is, not asking anything from Shep and just being there for him/her. Maybe even just keeping his personal issues *cough*likehisprospectiveguiltoverSheps'death*cough* bottled up so he can do that.



Now this is starting to sound like my personal canon with my M!Shep/Joker stuff. Though I guess I do shape my canon after what I'd like out of a Jokermance.

I wouldn't mind doing a mission for Joker, but I can't really imagine that there'd be one. He does seem more like the type to bottle things up and avoid the subject. Besides he woudn't like asking other people for help, methinks. Because of the Vrolik's syndrome, he's had to work 10 times as hard to get to where he is, and he's got there on his own. I don't think that he'd be comfortable having someone else taking care of his problems or whatever.

Besides it's really nice to have one person to just joke around with. Keeping things more light

I completely agree with you Brody, he does have the both of both in him~!
As for a mission; nope. Joker is already loyal. Unless the mission is to find a cure for him, or buy him a present; nah. No mission. He wouldn't ask anything of Shepard, and he's the most loyal character in the game already...

It would make no sense at all, if Joker wasn't loyal in ME2 all of a sudden. I think, he'll be there just like always. I'd love to hear some more about his reasons why he really joined Cerberus.

I had this vague idea that there could be some kind of mission for Joker where Shepard goes back to the Normandy's wreck and sobs brokenly over the wreck of their baby girl tracks down the ME equivalent of the ship's black box. It's kind of unclear on what terms Joker left the Alliance-- all he says about it is that he was "grounded", presumably because they blamed him for failing to save the ship. If he was court-martialed or dishonorably discharged, I could see him mentioning it in passing, and that the Normandy would have had records of the stealth systems being engaged, that he did everything he could to save the ship, etc. He wouldn't ask Shepard to go looking for it-- in fact, he'd probably tell Shep to leave well enough alone, it doesn't matter, etc. But Shep goes looking anyway, recovers the data and sends it off to the Alliance in an effort to restore his good name. And then Joker's all about it. (And then hugging. Yes.)

I don't think it'd be a "loyalty" thing, though. Joker's loyalty has never been in question.

I'd also like to hear more about why he joined Cerberus, although I doubt we'll ever get specific reasons. My head canon says that the Alliance grounded him, and Cerberus blacklisted him so no corporations would hire him, just so that he'd be all nice and desperate when they came calling... and then he still refused to join until Miranda was like "We're bringing Shepard back and s/he needs a pilot, are you in or not, flyboy?"

Maybe not loyalty missions, but i like doing things for our squadmates. If only to learn more and interact with the character more. It would be great to learn more about Joker, its very easy to take him as selfish and standoffish. And maybe some mention of how he's moving around easier!



So long as they dont use companion missions as filler for the plot line lol. But they'll be little chance of that in the third me thinks.

Cerberus assignment?! My Hannah Shepard has Joker's birthday tattoed on her arm, so as to never forget!! xD She'll just be like, "yup, time to buy a present for Joker, then think long and hard about whether to give it to him or not. This year, I will!!"

Not sure how well the "buying a present part" would go over. Can you imagine the kind of presents Jack would buy him? Or Grunt?

Actually, I take that last one back. Grunt might buy him plastic dinosaurs, thus further increasing the Joker/Shep = Wash/Zoe analogy.

I like it, but it should be about convincing them all to contribute with certain things. xD The list should look something like this;

Tali: convince Tali to geek out with Joker whilst the rest of the crew prepare his surprise.
Miranda: convince Miranda to requisition food and drink.
Garrus: make sure he buys food and drink for the dextro-people. xD
Jack: convince Jack to put some clothes on.
Kasumi: convince Kasumi to steal something appropriate for Jack to wear.
Grunt: convince Grunt to wear a ribbon that says "We U Joker!" If you succeed, you get an achievement worth 50G! xD
Thane: convince Thane to fix a wicked playlist for Legion.
Legion: convince Legion to dance to previously mentioned playlist.
Samara: convince Samara to serve drinks in nothing but her skivvies.
Kelly: convince Kelly to leave Urz alone, and help Samara with drinks. o_O

NOPE I TOTALLY DISAGREE! I can't imagine Jack dressed up in... clothes ! 
But Jacob - why locking him? Dont be hatin... Throw him out of airlock.

@Wejki, you can't even imagine her in a LBD? With those amazing shades, and like the Kasumi loyalty mission dress. Jack could look pretty sweet in that. Or she could just wear her tattoos. Now THAT I would LOVE!



As for Jacob, I'll space him after the party. I'll attach some fireworks to him, light 'em up then space him! xD
