if you talk about the idea within ME3 it would have to work for those as well that don't want to romance him.

Here's a good Joker-related mission:  His hat goes missing.  You have several options:

-Buy him a new hat:
    Paragon: Get one that says "Galaxy's Best Pilot"
    Renegade: Buy him an ugly pink wool hat and act offended if he won't wear it
-Find out who stole his old hat
    Paragon: Demand that they give the hat back
    Renegade:  Let them keep it and tell Joker that you let Grunt eat it

Whilst I like the concept, I think the option should be something along the lines of;

-Buy him a new hat:
Paragon: Get him one that says "Galaxy's Best Pilot"
Renegade: Get him one that says "Property of Shepard" and insist he wear it always.
-Find out who stole his hat:
Paragon: Demand that they give the hat back
Renegade: Beat this seven shades of sht out of them, then triumphantly return to the Normandy, not forgetting to bug the hat before you return it.

To be honest and no offense to those who want it but I doubt there will be any birthdaying with any one O_O (please don't stone me) I mean what would it do exactly for the BIG mission? absolutely nothing. I my self thought the loyal missions were like ARE YOU SERIOUS?? but at least they had a point to them like the upgrading yeah I thought it sucked but hey if you didn't do it people would die.



BESIDES Joker has been loyal to Shep since ME1 I doubt they would have anything special planned for him in ME3 unless it was the possible romance we want or the sacrifice thing

I'm surprised how slow going this thread is. Why wouldnt more people want Joker love? Always at our side, Seth Green... maybe they dont want to split him from EDI

@Namira, I should guess it's because a majority of players are male, so that eliminates quite a bit of traffic, although we've had some lovely comments from a couple of guys who've dropped in to support our Jokerlove. Now, a lot of the female players are more interested in pre-existing LI's, most notably Kaidan and Garrus.

That's likely the reason why this thread is slow. People are busy elsewhere. T-T Oh, and, I have a sneaking suspicion that talking to myself in here is not allowed. Otherwise I would!

I was thinking that maybe in ME3 they would somehow transfer EDI into some sexy android, and Joker would then be taken by Android-EDI, lol.

I dont like the idea of even more LI's when the third comes out, but with preexisting characters it could be great. Joker finally gets around to telling femshep how he feels. Gush factor overload. (I realise they already did that with Tali and Garrus, but but... they're not Joker!)

I wouldnt mind EDI getting jealous doh hehe. Then she goes bat sh-t, and we get a third normandy. With a bar.

Alright, I'll give my two cents on a Joker thingie.

It would kind of make sense if it were an option; Joker's always sort of 'been there' and I get the impression he kind of watches from afar.

His constant wisecrackings seem a form of flirtation to me, and he kind of seems sad to see Fshep leave the cockpit to go do more crap.

Just typical nerd overanalyzations I suppose, but I really think a sort of 'I've always had a thing for you, Shepard,' wouldn't be out of place in ME3.

@Namira, my Hannah managed to resist both Kaidan and Liara throughout ME1. Moving on to ME2 now, though, so we'll see how it goes. xD

Well, as much as I like the romances, I have 16 Shepards and LOADS of different saves for each and every one of them. Meaning I can relive the romances whenever I like. So I'm never really left wanting for any other romance than Joker. o_O Which is why I've created Hannah, to be single throughout ME1 and ME2. Although, in ME1, she's interested in Kaidan, but stays away because of regs. In ME2, she's just pissed and too busy kicking behinds to fall in love. Hopefully, by ME3, she can just calm down and get her Joker~!

See to me The Jokermance would make the most sense. When Tali and Garrus became romance options in ME2 I was shocked TBH. Cause Tali was like a little kid in the last one and Garrus was that guy IMO who complained... and even in ME2 he complains... just a little less lol



I can honestly say that I have a character who has staid single threw out both games and who hasn't had any flings. I even have one that stayed single from the first one to have a romance in the second one who left Kaidan alive on Virmire who told him in a nice way that it wasn't going to happen which some say was impossible psssh.....

two. Mordin nearly made a cure earlier but it would cause liver failure so its likely mordin would be able to cure joker pretty easily (plot line wise)



Three. come on jokermance would be epic as well as some good one liners.

Eh, if there's a Jokermance, I wouldn't want to see it limited, but there should definitely be some additional dialogue if you have romanced others. Like, if you romanced someone in ME1 and stayed "loyal" in ME2 (or romanced no one in ME1, had an LI in ME2), then dump them in ME3, Joker could have a line about not wanting to be a rebound or something. If you romanced someone different in both games, he could snark at you about being yet another conquest; Paragon option would be "no you're special this is serious etc", Renegade would be "well, yeah, pretty much."

But he'll say yes regardless... right? o_O I mean, I can see him laugh off a "pretty much" with a "works for me, so when do we do this thing?" and then you can pounce him and he'll be like "yay!"
And even if you say it's just a fling, you should be able to pursue an actual romance. not like with Jack, where you can either tap her now or later, but do it now and you're doomed. Dx

because I see Jokermance as a reward for those Sheps who have been eyeing him from the start and never had anything going with one of the other LIs.

And I don't want it to be a fling. Either all or nothing...not just another fling. Joker is too special and too awesome to be just a "letting off steam kinda thing" for Shepard. Serious or nothing at all. But no fling...that would suck hamsterballs.
