I don't think Joker would start something with a Shep who romanced Kaidan. After all, they are friends and you don't bang your friend's girl....

@Jane, I think you're right about that to some extent. But if throughout ME2 you kept saying you were over Kaidan, that you should be able to be with Joker. If you're not going back to him, I don't see why Joker wouldn't put his hands on you.



And I don't mind a hook-up/rebound with Joker. As much as I want a romance, I can totally see him as being up for some casual sex. Even though in my mind he loves Shepard, he'll accept being the rebound if he thinks there's a chance of something more. And I did say I wanted the option of sleeping with him first, and then initiating a romance. Because then we can have TWO love scenes!! Get me? xD

There are plenty out there that still do. But Joker defintely seems like a 'Bros before hoes' type of guy

Er... a) she's not anyone property, she can hook up with whoever she wants, regardless of who she dated in the past, and if she's clearly broken up with the friend-- and said friend was kind of a jerk-- why the hell not date?

Sorry, I just have issue with the whole "don't date your friend's ex-girlfriend" mentality. It makes it sound like the girl in question is property or something.

And I think there's plenty of people who came to the Jokermance party a little later on, myself included. In ME1, Joker was cool, but he really wasn't that major of a character, and he didn't have as well-developed a personality, IMO. (I'm replying ME1 right now, and I'm finding myself really missing the conversations with him.) ME2, he's taken a level or three in badass, has tons more conversation and role in the story... and I don't think that a Jokermance should be reserved for people who didn't see him as a potential LI earlier on.

I know Joker and Kaidan were friends, but I don't think that would stop him from pawing Shepard, should he be given the opportunity to do so. I can imagine a "Well, what about Kaidan, Shepard?" From there you can just say that's over and dealt with and smooching should ensue.

It's not a matter of property or anything... I just do think that Joker is the kinda guy who doesn't start anything with his friend's exes...that simple.

I was finally able to make a Joker Fan fictions. I did the best I could with the material I had. I'm not really into writing mushy love dovey stuff. I figured this was the best I could do until they make the third game. I like to see what Bioware would do. I tried to keep this just between Joker and Shepard and tried to write it so no decision a player made got involved. I just wrote what Bioware gave us and I added the spice to the creme. You can view the story of Joker and Shepard on my blog. I've also uploaded it to Fanfiction.net. Just it won't be until 4 to 8 hours before it shows up. Don't worry its not very long. I edited the holy crap out of it, because I'm an edit junky. Its about 2 pages total. I hope you guys like it. Please give me some contructive feed back and let me know what you think later on. Thank you guys for inspiring me to test my skills on Joker. I hope I am worthy of his inspiration.

P.S. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you guys. I've just been busy with life. I work nights so its hard to find the time to be creative. Eh... Joker and Kaidan weren't THAT close by any indication.

Joker is much closer to Shepard, I'd say. Perhaps not as a friend, but as a colleague.

I can't see Joker actually having that many friends... Lot's of "pals", yeah, but not many people that are actually close. And I don't see Shepard as one, either. There's the Commander / Subordinate divide between them, no matter how informal and insolent Lt. Moreau can get... At least for now.

But that does sound like something I'd find at a gamer/comic shop.

How about a small statue with a clock and a motion sensor?

They could have it programed with a couple of alarm sounds and some remarks for when you walk by the statue.
