Well, my french teacher always said that the german language sounds chopped...maybe this is true but I don't care - it is not my fault being born here



I liked all the german VAs - some are quite similar to the english speakers (like Mordin and Miranda) and some more different (like EDI). I think the english VA for FemShep sounds more badass like the german VA - I really have to get used to hear it.

Hey, easy, didn't mean it's ugly... You didn't kill my grandparents after all ;F
I think I just got used to original VA and when I hear some other VAs it's like... CRACK... well  When I heard Polish voices I was terrified and immediately returned to english

Funny, I think EDI sounds different in german.



If you play for a while you get used to the voices so it is more strange to hear the characters speak with a different voice than in a different language.



But of course, I like Seths voice as well

Hmh, shouldn't be there a second pilot on the Normandy? Joker has to get some sleep (well sometimes) and EDI states in the beginning that a helmsman is still needed to fly the Normandy.



Well of course it would be too complex to insert such a substitute to the game but it would be funny if they would mention or joke about it. The poor guy or the poor girl that would be Jokers substitute will likely have a hard time with Joker as he lets everyone know that he is simply the best

@Wejki, I really like German. Sounds nice! Besides, I understand German well enough. I'm hoping to get around to actually learning to speak and read it, but I need to finish French and Japanese first. O_O

Yeah, i guess he's just an anonymous crew member. Would have made for an interesting character though, stressing about working under Joker

I love German, i always speak to my dog in it. Not sure why. Not that great at it though lol

Forgive the translation I had to use google English to Deutsch, since my German is awful spotty. That happens when you family has been in America for prolly over a 100 years now. :happy:

French I don't
know about, sounds neat but complicated. Japanese however "Hai", when I
have time I've been doing some self study audio. Geramn has been funny
since I said some stuff in german without knowing it and other stuff I
understand without knowing why. I have a little knowedge of he language
from high school but not enought in my opinion.

@Fenris: wow, you must be really good with languages - I only had 3 years french at school and I did not used it afterwards, so there is not much left



@Trapper: don't worry, I have to look for some words (like chopped) in the dictionary as well - one should think that 9 years english at school would be enough but obviously it isn't



@Carilynn: Well, I don't want to work under Joker, I think he would tease every other pilot and there would be always competition (I think he can be nasty sometimes). So I am glad that Shepard does anything else but flying the ship

I dunno. Too much porn, Joker, games, movies, naked American gurls and so on did something to my eyes.

I learned German long ago, because every freakin kid in Poland has to I believe. When I began to understand something, we moved to the USA, and nao I only remember "I love you" I like the language. And country too, I guess.

Speaking of co-pilot seat: there is only Kaidan at the very beginning of ME1 and that girl (with the long range scan) at the beginning of ME2. Most of the time Joker is alone on the bridge or with EDI.



If I remember correctly, EDI tells you (if you ask what part of the ship the bridge is) that a helmsman and a navigator is needed - so there should be at last two people flying the ship or EDI is taking part of it.



But a female co-pilot next to Joker and EDI - hmh, maybe it is not Joker who gives the co-pilot a hard time but the other way around (co-pilot and EDI vs. Joker could be funny).

I keep having the nagging feeling that s/t would go wrong if you romanced Joker, like the normandy crashing or something. Didnt EDI say how she had no control over the controls of the ship?

Well, EDI gets control of the ship after the Collector's attack and take the crew. That's what the whole mission with Joker is about. Besides, there will most likely be a co-pilot, considering the fact that Joker is only human. At least, I hope there is a co-pilot! o_O I have big plans for Joker. >

Shepard and all the forces he has gathered are fighting the reapers. One reaper ship is slowly being crippled, but it has powerful firepower destroying many ships. 

SHEPARD: Joker, fire the main guns!

JOKER: Aye, aye.

The Normandy flies out and Joker fires the gun. It does a lot of damage, but the ship is still active. 

JOKER: Dammit! 

SHEPARD: What is it, Joker?

JOKER: The gun is jammed. We're screwed here.

SHEPARD: Get the hell outta here, Joker!

JOKER: Shepard, I'm not leaving you.

SHEPARD: JOKER, GO! THAT'S AN ORDER!

JOKER: WELL, THAT'S AN ORDER, I CAN'T FOLLOW.

Joker flies the Normandy right towards the ship.

SHEPARD: JOKER! NO!

JOKER: Commander...There's something I have to tell you!

SHEPARD: TURN AROUND AND TELL ME LATER!

JOKER: EDI, Initiate the self-destruct protocol.

EDI: Jeff, I-

JOKER: DO IT!

EDI: Very well. Self destruct in 10...9...8...7...

SHEPARD: JOKER!!! NO!!

The Normandy flies right into the Reaper ship.

EDI: 3...2...1...

The self-destruct protocol activates blowing up the Normandy and destroying the Reaper ship in the process.

SHEPARD: JOKER!!!!!!!!

Well - that would be the end of one reaper- but I doubt that the rest of them will die out of grief... so and finally we found back to the topic of cloning Joker



I think EDI should be able to fly the Normandy alone but I suppose it is more effective together with a human (creative evasive maneuvers or so)
