I doubt it would be Joker that dies and I sort of hope its more like the ME2 were they could all live if you do it correctly. I still half expect BW to end the saga of Shepard with her being vaporized no matter what. That seams to be the trend these days, Just look at Dragon Age:Origins or Fallout 3.

Ooooo! Imagine if, in the next saga with the new protagonist, we meet Joker again and then get to romance him ! I could live with that....

I'd trade a lot of my team to keep Shoker alive, but perhaps that's just me? ... I'd do it for some of the LIs I'd hooked up with over the course of my games too though, so that's not as biased as it sounds. xD

As for the pile of Joker glass...I dunno, I've always pictured Mordin giving Shep some vids on "normal" people having sex with people with Vrolik's and how not to snap them in half...I mean Mordin's got all other kinds of crazy vids and info for you and how to use your biotics and have sex with other races...is him having vids about how to have sex with people with Vrolik's really all that hard to fathom?

And like a ton of others have said before me, sex aside completely, Joker is easily my favorite character in the game. I don't need a smexy scene with him to be happy, just a nice little kiss or something like that. He makes me laugh, and that, for me, is what I NEED in a relationship. Everyone else by comparison is a bit dull. The only person in my playthroughs as a male and female Shepard that I found any real interest in was Jack.

I mean for females Garrus was kind of a huge let down. I like him in ME1, so when I found out he was a romance option in ME2 I went after him in two seconds...but all the "relationship" scenes were basically about having sex. I mean the final scene was a bit sweet, so it did end nicely, but overall, it was kind of a let down. Romance Rating: 6.5-7/10 Saved from by Omega 4 Relay scene.

Kaidan was good in the first game...although, well, a bit weird after the sex scene. lol He just bothered me after that, and don't get me started on ME2, I wanted my Shep to shoot him or crush him with her biotics. Romance Rating: 4/10. Kaidan started off good, but ended up killing any feelings I had for him by the end of ME1.

Liara I've always found...interesting. I was a bit put off with her in the first game, like I felt like she only liked Shep because of the Prothean connection, but after ME2 and Lair of the Shadow Broker...I've come to like her more. It seems like you two could form a real connection if you could spend more time together. Romance Rating: 7.5/10 Lair of the Shadow Broker bumped this up.

Thane, I haven't finished my romance with Thane yet, but I've watched all the cutscenes and convos...I like Thane, but it just feels very fast. Romance Rating: 7/10 I wish the romance didn't feel so fast paced...it would've been nicer.

Jacob...hell, I didn't even bother romancing Jacob, he's a boring mess. Romance Rating: 0/10

For males, I did like Tali...I feel a bit bad for her, but overall, like Garrus, it was a bit of a let down. She talked a lot about sex too...although I guess in her case it was more of a, "I don't want to die Shep, so if we do this, we need to do this right." For the reason, I feel like it was pretty good, but still not great. Romance Rating: 7.5/10

Ashley...I seriously hated Ashley. Sh irked me to no end, and hated all my alien buddies. You can't be in a relationship with someone who hates your friends, it never works. I always end up killing her on Virmire...even if I do kind of want to kick Kaidan, I always feel guilty about the idea of ACTUALLY killing him. Romance Rating: 0/10

Jack is my favoirte. She was out of her mind crazy, not unlike some of my Shep's, but is probably one of the most developed characters in the game. She starts off insane, but if you try to know her, you learn why, and by the end of the game, around you at least, she lightens up, lets you in. Aside from Joker, she's probably my second favorite character in the game. Romance Rating: 9.5/10.

Miranda was...interesting. I liked Miranda, but I'm a little put off by her. She's like that guy/girl in class you find attractive, but if they asked you out you're not sure if you'd go out with them because they always find ways of ticking you off by saying the wrong things at the wrong time. Romance Rating: 6.5/10

Why did I explain all of that? Well, because in comparison, I already feel like you've got more of a connection with Joker than more than half of our romance options with a few exceptions. Joker has been there for Shepard since day one. He certainly makes ME laugh, so at least in my mind, he makes my Shep laugh. There was a lot of subtext for it in ME2, AND Joker still hasn't said how he felt about you being dead. That just seems like a conversation full of emotions that could lead somewhere Shoker friendly...already, I'd give the Romance Rating a 7/10.

Who knows, perhaps I am a ranting fangirl, but I do not care. Shoker will always exsist in fanfiction and in my mind.

Oh I love that picture, Fenris. *Smiles!* No, Joker must not die. Who else flies the Normandy? Uh, no one! I really hope they don't kill Shep, I'm rather attached to mine. She's like my own virtual self who is 1000x more BA than I could ever hope to be. Maybe it will be like the Harry Potter death thing...before the last one came out everyone was like, OMG Harry's gonna die!/OMG Harry won't die! And everyone was right...

I'm kind of glad I never romanced Kaidan, because Virmire would have been a military-minded person's living hell...you save one, you feel horrible about leaving your love to die, and you save the other, you wonder if those feelings affected your judgment. AH! Too much. But Joker is my knight in shining armor. When he comes to save you at the end of ME2...it's AWESOME! Oh, and someone will die no matter what, and that's Thane. I can't see BW giving him a cure. It would totally rob the character if they did...not that I'm against a cure for him, I just don't think it'll happen.

Well I was kind of always romancing Kaidan with femsheps. Liara was... well, I wrote already what I think about her ;F And 'twas really hard to leave Ash on Virmire. Only one of my femsheps, which remained single for both ME1 and ME2, sacrificed Kai. Goddamned Virmire! I hate this mission.

I get the feeling that Joker and Normandy are almost the same person. One cannot live with another D: And Joker can't die, he's too awesome and we need him! xD

@Wejki, I hate Virmire. I love both Kaidan and Ashley, I think they're brilliant. I always hesitate before I chose, then I close my eyes and hope it'll all be over soon. DX



I don't think Joker could lose the Normandy again. If the Normandy disappears, so will he. :/

I removed all my stuff from dA after a huge c*ck up on their side, in which they discriminated against everyone of a non-binary gender. I do recognise myself as a very binary female, but they had no right to do that. They even went so far as to call transgendered people hermaphrodites.

It was all in all disgusting, and even though they gave us back the option of being able to choose "other" as gender, they never apologised for the huge insult towards the transgendered community.



So I took my shizzle off of there.



Don't worry, though. I'm putting it all up on a new site called Artician or something. xD It might just be a while, but it will all be re-published. 8D

I think Ash has a right to dislike aliens. It's not that easy to be like "well, let's just act nicely and don't give a f*ck about species" and not everyone is xenophilic like Shepard.

She was young, vehement and talented hell of a soldier. I liked her, really. Kaidan was IMHO exact opposite; calm, under control (because of his implants) and older than Ash. And I liked him too. They are great characters, well-written, interesting, and you actually WANT to talk to them, enjoy it. Well, at least in my case.

And I guess Joker's death would be a hard experience for... everyone. At least from original crew. I couldn't stand his death. PLEASE DON'T DIE JOKER Dx

My dream ME3 - Ceberus rebuilds squaddie left on Virmire, and Shepard destroys all Reapers after long war with help of other species. Ten years later Joker and Shepard gets married and have a lot of not-blue children.

Never said Ash had to hook up with another species to make me happy, it just bothered me that every 2 seconds she was saying how much she hated them all. I could get Turians, and her not liking Garrus, but I just feel like she didn't have a reason to hate the others.



@FenrisDeSolar - I don't mind if you disagree with me, that's fine. I didn't write it expecting everyone to agree with my opinions in LIs. I'd be interested in hearing your opinions though, but whatever...that's just how I feel about them when I playthrough it.
