Femshep doesnt seem picky lol, actually the only person she hasnt been linked with is a bigger person lol. Scales, webbed digits, head tentacles, not a problem, but a bit of fat? Nothing so far lol

And getting back on the joker thread. I didn't see any conversation with him in the NEw Shadow broker DLC. I'm really sad about that. ='( I finally got it and loved it. I'm playing ME 1 again with an old character male shepard I made a couple of months ago to play the full plot of the liara romance. I've still got a femshep lined up. Just in case they actually decide to make a joker romance or even flirt dialogue. I've still got it in mind to the point I don't want to be picky. I just want to hear some wise cracks the most of how joker would react to femshep hitting on him. Or even how he might hit on her.

His defensiveness could be the result of having been badly hurt  by someone though. It's possible he's been in a few bad relationships. :|

I could see that, sadly enough...makes me wanna cry thinking about it! Who would wanna hurt Joker? If Skylar Shepard ever met the ****, she'd go down!

I could also see him being a virgin. I go to a school where you see lots of career-driven virgins a lot. Plus his condition could make him a bit nervous about the whole thing, and he puts up a defensive front to keep his risk of being hurt down.

It is possible hes been hurt, but IMO his hurt-pride demeanour likely comes from elsewhere, having to prove himself etc. Plus he comes across the type to really strive for independance, so i can imagine him avoiding relationships just because he 'doesnt need anyone'.

Yea that's a great point. He give the impression he work hard to do what he has and as a result has take a lot of mental abuse. Which is were his anti-mental assault shield came from. Its just like the fat kid that got picked on in school, he either went into depression under the assault from the kids making fun of him or he got witty and was able to snap back at the kids with something they couldn't deflect.

Well if you remember when he talks about flight school. He tells you he did get picked on a few times. Plus he said he was always into his studies. He was definitely picked on a lot. Question is did he have a girl friend before he met our femsheps.

No doubt in my mind that the chip on his shoulder comes from the fact that he was probably picked on a lot and pre-judged because of his condition. He makes that very clear in ME1...he is very quick to point out that he doesn't take any charity and is automatically defensive when Shepard wants to talk to him. Poor guy had to build up barriers to deal with other peoples' crap.

@Tooneyman I'm pretty sure he probably did, I mean there's always a girl out there who wouldn't mind dealing with any kind of condition in a relationship. However, a lot of dedication required in such a relationship, and it takes the right girl.

I started to write you a reply then I decided I needed a bit of clarification. You're saying that you don't think there's a girl out there who would be willing to deal with all conditions, correct? If that is the case, I'm going to retract what I wrote because I think I might have confused my original point. (I was studying for an exam at the time, I don't write well when my attention is divided XD) I'm going to edit it to say that I am pretty sure that Joker had a past relationship at some point in time because there's probably people out there who would deal with his condition, at least for a while. Why am I so sure about that? Look at us...(guys and girls alike (

Like me fore example I'm sure people only ever get to the point where they tolerate my existence and nothing more.

There certainly is someone out there for everyone, but Joker would have been young and there still would have been that pack mentality between the other kids there. But its likely he could have found another lost soul going through the same thing.
Would be a bit of a fairy tale if he then ended up with the awesome and famous Shepard. He would have to take them to all the reunions, a perfect 'in your face'.

Lol Trapper. All you need is a strong minded gf to sort you out. She'll hunt you down soon enough! Though i say this knowing im just as self-critical as you.

Sorry given the topic at hand I start to become a little bit more of a fatalist than I would otherwise be and I think it shows in what I say. I do have my doubts NamiraWilhelmabout that happening and she would have to me at least 4 times more stuborn than me to get around the barriers I have putt up throughout my life.
