Yeah, it is speculation but I think it was a "leak" from Russia...or something like that. I think the developers were hinting at it, too. On the other hand, it could just be us reading into things WAY too much.

Ha! Yeah, if Joker were a LI in another game I *might* be okay. Lol. It would be easier I guess, because I've had to do additional play-throughs so I don't get suckered in by Thane. Damn my impulsiveness!

So, Joker question.

In ME1, when he's first telling you about his case of Vrolik's, he specifically references his hips and legs not developing properly, rather than his entire skeletal system.

In ME2, however, he complains about his arm, and makes a couple cracks about other bones being fragile as well.

So... are his legs just worse, since they support more weight and are the longest bones in the body, or did they ret-con things, or is it really just supposed to be his lower body that's effected? (Cause that seems a bit unlikely... wouldn't a bone disease mess with all your bones? Spine especially, really... )

And, since we didn't have a TOP pic...

All types of Osteogenesis Imperfecta will affect the entire skeleton. They might just have gotten that wrong in ME1. However, the bones that carry a lot of weight (i.e. the spine, the pelvis, the femurs etc.) have a tendency to be more fragile because they deform over time.

@Fenris: Thank you. That's what I thought, just wondering what the writers in the first one thought they were getting at then. Or just hadn't realized that's what they were implying in the first convo?

@Jilly, I think they just didn't do their homework properly. I'll be setting them detentions! >:|

@Shenzi, I'm afraid that's exactly what my Synnova might do. 8D

@Shenzi: *snorts* No breaking! If she breaks him, she has to wait 'til he heals before she can play some more. *whistles innocently*

On a more serious note, for anyone fic-ing or just curious about Joker romance stuff, this is a really interesting interview with a british actress w/OI about developing a healthy sex-life.

And then there's always the fun of having to explain to Dr. Chakwas how he broke those bones in the captain's quarters.....

Yeah, they wouldn't have to explain. Chakwas would take one look at them and have trouble maintaining her professional composure to avoid laughing at them. :D Captains Quarters would be better than the nice leather pilot's chair though...

For me, they started in the pilot's chair, and ended up in the captain's quarters. 8D
I don't know why, but in my mind, they sex like rabbits. XD

*snorts* You are not alone w/the rabbit inclinations there, Fenris. :D I just meant it'd be a bit more embarrassing to admit to... even to the doctor. ^_~ And it's not like the cockpit has a proper bulkhead door, since they use kinetic barriers for ship breaches. (Though I'm sure Joker enjoys sex in semi-public places. Especially since doing so before Cerberus upgraded his bones was probably tricky.)

If I was Shepard, I'd be tempted to brag about it... XD Like, "So, guys, I had Joker in mah room last night, and we ****ed so hard he broke some bones. 8D" Then I'd revel in the awkward silence that would ensue... XD

And, yas, I'm all for semi-public places. 8D

We might actually need a support group if we don't get Joker... :[

@Fenris: Nah, I'll just stick my fingers in my ears and sing 'la la la' really loudly until I convince my brain that my fanfic version of Ella/Joker is more canon than the game.

I have experience with this from my years watching anime in college. The japanese do some seriously whacked out things to the ends of their storylines a lot.

Then again, hanging out in a Joker support group is fun. 'Cause he's awesome.

Well, there's obviously a chance that we won't like what they do with a possible Jokermance in ME3. This is unlikely, though, as I will love Joker for always and ever... XD But still...

I think we should have a support group, just in case. :P

Isn't that kinda what this thread is for? Or the dArt group? Or the BSN group, even? I think we're good. ^_~

And yes, they could give us our romance and it sucks, or they could give us a lot of expanded dialogue but no romance, or they could do almost nothing w/Joker at all, (which seems unlikely as he's the only person on the SR2 you can't kill off), or they could have something spectacularly awesome planned which will blow our minds. In a good way.

I hate waiting.

Or just a cameo for Joker in ME3

*laughs@Shenzi* I thought I covered that with "they could do almost nothing w/Joker at all" but you're right, I should be more specific.

... or they could totally screw over his fanbase and avoid any reasonable interaction with him at all...

*cries* I don't think I could handle them doing that to Kaidan and then Joker too. *sniffles*

Somehow, we should make our desires known. If BW doesn't think it's something we want, it's not gonna be something they implement.

There's been a lot of emails and petitions though. I think some of the information of that still exists in Snap Crackle and Pop. Apparently, all efforts to show our love of Joker have been stonewalled. ¬_¬

Maybe if I made Joker my first tattoo? :D Or would sending a pic of my boobs along with a sammich be more appropriate?

Tell me! D: I would do ANYTHING for a Jokermance!
