I would like to see Anderson and sanders in ME3 myself and they can imagine that being the options in ME2 actually. Paragon rolls in Anderson and party or Renegade rolls in Cerberus and party. But that has little to do with my point.
In reference to PC I don't see Anderson pulling that spot light at him because it seamed pretty adamant that he's too old to play soldier anymore. Similarly for Sanders I picture her being about Dr. Chakwas age (I maybe wrong) and at any rate shes not a soldier anymore. She never really was since her skills were in non-combat fields. My comment about Joker is really more based on the thought that it seams like Cerberus did something to him and a little bit to the fact that we have had him as PC already suggest they may have been testing the water on a new main character for ME3.
Other speculations I have are that Shepard was not supposed to survive because it feels like some plan they had for ME3 cannon to be about a new hero and not about Shepard.

@ Trapper - yep i got your point but i don't see it. Much as i love Joker he certainly doesn't seem like Protagonist material... more the comedy relief or brother at arms. Batmans' Robin in a sense.
In any case im pretty certain that it was will be Shepard or no one in the third game. You lived through Shepard through the story, and when they die we do, so we won't get to see how it all plays without them.
Anderson certainly isnt too old to play soldier IMO, especially how better we age in that century.
You do have a point in the sense that they allow them to die in the middle of the story.... usually they do such things for people who dislike the happily ever after but allowing it to happen in the middle is interesting... i suppose they had to let something big happen in what was effectively a whole game based on the 'enlisting help' part of a story line.

*sigh* You might have a point. ¬_¬ Perhaps we should only talk about how well he handles his ship from now on. ;3

And Shepard's death in ME2 is final, you can't import the game into ME3 if Shep dies. Basically, without Shep, Galaxy = effed.

No, I am absolutely sure that we will again have our Normandy and Joker and EDI. I am justing hoping that Bioware will follow the way like ME2 did and to give the player different endings, depending on your decisions. So with bad decisions maybe all or nearly all of your team will be dying (bad ending) and with good decisions everyone will live (and I mean everyone - don't you dare Bioware to do something to Joker).

I can see no reason short of destroying her again to NOT have the Normandy back. Plus, Joker can't die unless you let your mission fail and never reloaded in which case you never completed ME2 and probably aren't going to get ME3 then. LOL
I have 6 single femSheps who never romanced anyone in reserve for Joker .. but should Big Ben end up being recruitable squaddie/LI I might let him have 3 and Joker have 3.

The sniper guy from the ME3 trailer - he's a Brittish guy sitting in the remains of Big Ben - it's alot better sounding placeholder name than the Nigel McFishnchips I've seen floating around these forums LOL
Ahhh i've paid no attention to that since that picture was released and the forum got spammed with many threads about it... so its a trailer now? And ME3? In Big Ben? Must find trailer....

No, Joker's not been blatant, but some of the things he says could be construed as a sort of dropped hint here or there.
He seemed really happy that it didn't go very awesome for my Shep on Horizon. Sounds disappointed when you leave the cockpit. There's other stuff but it's late and I've probably said it before. Suffice it to say it does seem as if he's edged on dropping something before. He would play it safe, Shep's his CO.
So Star said I should pimp out my Shoker fanfiction. I mean I kind of figured a link in my sig was enough but uh, well, she said it deserves to be read, so.
I'm on Chapter 6 now. It's called Tiger By My Side, and of course, deals with Shepard x Joker. I tried very hard to keep it in character and not fluffy at all.

Please let me know what you think. I'm not one of those who believes their creations are 'their babies,' if something sucks and I can make it better, let me know. If something's good, let me know, too!

@Sorrel: Yay! More Shoker fanfic is always good. And Star is awesome. You should listen to her.
Speaking of fanfic... Persephone Rising has been updated w/some Joker too. 'Cause he's awesome.

Was that even Shepard at the end of the trailer? Also that observation window looked larger than what the SR-2 has and I wonder if he was on some orbital station.

Considering how many reapers you seen at the end of ME2 it didn't seam that far fetched. This race of machine has been destroying civilizations for how long now. They must know how to hit and do the most damage.
I just hope they do an ending where if you fail they show Shepard as like a husk or something else reaperish.
Edit: I also wonder if it is Shepard because you could die at the end of ME2 so if you were to start a game with no import are you a Shepard or Big Ben or anything else?
