@ Trapper - The Mass Effect Wiki is what I use most often. If there are holes that need to be filled, I fill them with my best guess based on what I already know...I definitely don't go out there willy-nilly making up stuff, though. It's all about having fun, anyway.

@ Wejki - I try. Lol. I hope you have just as much fun reading as I do writing! I so do loves the Joker...

I make stuff up willy-nilly when I can't find references. And then swear quietly (or not so quietly) in my head when I finally find something that contradicts what I made up, since I've usually already posted it by the time this happens. And yes, I am a wiki-addict.

@ jilly - Haha I know the feeling! I think this is why I research the begeezes out of something before I start writing...makes the writing process go painfully slow, though. I think about things too much...XD

@Sky and Sorrel: I try to research things ahead of time. But sometimes I think I knew something I didn't, or they drop more info about it later, or someone tells me something about one of the comics or books that hasn't really made it onto the wiki, and I haven't read them all myself, so...

Are the comics considered canon? Or only semi-canon?

I believe the comics are cannon but I'm not aware of all of them just one by Dark Horse I think....



I use google to pull wiki pages for me but what was pestering me last night was trying to understand a name convention for some of the aliens and looking up some info about the females we never see much of. I ended with giving up on the female part and decided to go male for the character in question.



I tend to over analyze everything I do. When my muse comes back from the bar or where she went I'll ask for her opinion on what to do with some tech questions.

Wiki isn't cheating unless you read ahead before you play. When I need to know a detail in the events of Thane's loyalty mission, say...I don't want to have to play through the game again to get to it. Lol. Well, I do want to play through the game again, but you know what I mean. LOL.

I'd play through the game again just for the Joker banter.

Well I've never read before playing. It's unfair. I don't want to ruin my fun. Even if this means dying and screaming "WHY THE F*CK I KEEP DYING AT THIS STUPID MISSION?!".

Oh gosh I really can't wait to hear Joker again in ME3.

@ Wejki - LOL! That's how I was when I played ME1 the first time. I kept getting ROFL-stomped by the Krogan on Therum. XD I can't wait for Joker in ME3 either! Even seeing him in a trailer would make me incredibly happy. My fingers are crossed for LI...!
