Anyways, I twanted to start a new topic for discussion. Any thoughts on what Joker's role in ME3 will be? I know there was some talk earlier on the thread about who will live or die, but i just wanted to hear others' opinion and share my own.

Joker will live for the first half of the game guaranteed. It's possible they kill him off, but that would be unusually cruel for Bioware... D:



Basically, I believe in a huggable, loveable, awesomely witty Joker for ME3, who will be by our side for the Reaper screw-over AND the after party.

There will be at least one Shepard-screwed-everything-up-so-Joker-must-save-the-Universe-with-a-kamikaze-Normandy ending. Because they kept the spectacular pilot un-killable for a reason.



I will never see this ending, because I love Joker too much to let my Shepard be that stupid. I'm sure it will show up on YouTube relatively quickly though.

well, it will probably only be if you kill every possible squad member and ally, or something.

But yeah, they claimed they kept Kaidan, Ashley, and Liara out of ME2 because they had to be alive in ME3. Since Joker is pretty much the only person you can't kill, that must mean he's protected by plot armor too.

And what else would they /have/ to have the bestest pilot in the galaxy for? (I mean, I'm sure he does something super-awesome to save the day even if you have proper allies, don't get me wrong. But I'll bet that there's an ending where he's pretty much it. And everybody dies.)

I'm sorry. I'm very good at re-writing endings to pretend they never happened (years of anime! the japanese are crazy) so it doesn't bother me much. I'll stop though, promise.

I agree with you, jilly...though it would be an incredibly heart-wrenching ending. :'( Do you think there could be an ending where the Reapers wipe everyone out, or everyone save for a handful of each species? That would suck...but you'd have to epically fail to get that ending, I would think.
OMG LITTLE JOKERS!!! DOUBLE D'AAAAWWWWWW! That has to be #1 of the top 3 cutest things I've ever seen in my life.

Anything negative involving Joker for ME3 is something I don't even want to think about until I'm forced to witness it when the game is released. D': I'm hoping everyone gets through it all fine and dandy so Shepard and Joker can move on and make beautiful little babies. . . wait, what? c:

I was so disappointed when I found out you can't import a dead Shepard into ME3, because I was really looking forward to Joker taking the fight to the Reapers to get revenge...

But I do think they will have at least one REALLY BAD ending where we get the Reapers destroying the universe ending, Sky.

edited to add -> .... and Jilly, I DID play that game and it was so awful, I got up and walked away from the pc and had to talk myself into coming back. They better not do that to me again.

I adore Joker, if it wasn't for Alenko I'd be seriously unimpressed he is not romanceable. Mordin better find a cure in ME3 so we can get Joker in the party!
