I think this is probably a mute point but I think we encounter some Cerberus cell/s in ME1 so if that's true its possible Joker could be working for them but I agree with Sar that its bad resource management to follow no name soldier.

It has been awhile since I've started a new ME1, but I remember Cmdr. Shepard being some hot property before the game even starts. Maybe it depends on the background you choose but i got a scene of me looking out the window and Anderson (or somebody) talking about how Shephard is a military hero and she is the only person for the job. I also got all melty when that first scene shows Joker doing a bad impression of Nihlus (did I remember that right?) and me giving him what would become "The Look." He had me at sass-mouth!

Yes you always get that intro, words change on your background but basically the same. Even so I didn't get the impression she was like Grissom or Anderson special. She was no hero of mankind really, defeating Saren is where that comes from.

If she has a War Hero profile, then she already is like Anderson-legend ish...and I'd think so for the others as well because she's already a Spectre candidate before the game starts.

Edit: Since I played through ME2 first (I know, gasp...but I did because of how I was introduced to ME in general. My roommate was playing it, then he plopped the controller in my lap and said, "Do it. Play it now." Lol. The rest is history.) Joker had me when he stood in the door and gave SkyShep cover fire. I was all about Thane up until then...and then I was like, "WTH? Why don't I get to romance THIS GUY???"

Seriously though, as somebody who's sprained the muscle that holds your ribs together, I'm down with wierd injuries. I only WISH it was b/c of extra-curricular activities (on-topic: with Joker!!)

Oooh awesome! Ha I'll have to stay up all night just to make sure I get one when they come out, but it will be totally worth it.
