It wasn't meant to troll anyone. I was basing the comment off partial information I had about Joker (assuming the disease messed with his body in general and not just his legs).

If he was a romance option or not, no difference to me. If they want to please the fans, I don't see why not. The friendship/romance dynamic you mentioned is a excellent critique on romance options in general, however. It bugged me that the conversation with Jack abruptly ended after her loyalty mission, with little possibility of learning more about her without sharing a bed.

This I agree on. It only seemed to me the only way to get to know jack better was to sleep with her. Thats why I choose to side with miranda and watch jack die in the last mission. She won't be in my ME 3 game with any characters. Roorah!

They HAVE to fix the relationship issue because it is so poorly done in this game, it makes me weep. They had it better in ME1 even, though again with Kaidan and Liara if you were nice they both thought you wanted them. (Um, your mom died, I sort of shot her alot, thought talking was the LEAST I could do...)

Paragon friend, Renegade screw you, neutral, and flirting - no more trampy Jacob talks, no more Jack thinking I'm a lesbian, no more Leli accusing me of leading her on when I really love Alistair, etc.

Oh I don't hate Tali, I dislike a number of her crazy fans! I actually romanced her in my maleShep game (kept one with a loyalty to Ash, the other Tali), I adore Tali! She was always my favorite squadmember in ME1 for my maleShep! <3 It's just, I find it odd that a good number (not all, mind you) are so hostile towards anyone else who'd like to see a different romance and that they are usually the ones jumping into this thread with guns ablazing about how sick we are wanting a romance with Joker because of his bwittle wittle bones. >>

Tali = <3

A good number of her fans = crazy/hypocritical.

And I'm with Rhia, Vrolik's is a very real disease and there are a great number of people that have it, but are still alive coping with it. Also, Bioware left a bit of a plot hole with Joker so it's easy to assume Cerberus did a number of treatments. And as far as Chakwas is concerned, I think she may be using Jeff's disease as a front for a more maternal instinct that kicked in within her, she most likely views him in a son-like manner and the poor lady needs a constant in her life, and much like our Shepards, Joker is very much a constant. <3

They really did do a better job with the romance/friendship dynamic in ME1. My main femShep was best buds with Ash and I was happy she still had plenty to say to me throughout the game. I have never felt more isolated in a game than I did in ME2, I was out of all conversations quite a good bit BEFORE the Collector attack on the Normandy, I even went back to Joker and EDI and went through ALL their conversations again just so I didn't feel so freakin' lonely. I also started to miss being bugged constantly by Hackett...

I think Chakwas's line if you go talk to her after saving the crew from the Collectors is very telling, actually. She says something about how she's still shaken up from the attack, and then she says "You and Jeff came so quickly... I've never had truer friends." Made me want to give her a hug. The three of them-- Joker, Shepard, and Chakwas-- kind of have their own special bond. It's very sweet. And giving me plot bunnies. Writing time!

I never got that line! ;____________;

Probably because I was too afraid of going unprepared and took my fekkin' time...DIDN'T MATTER ANYWAY, PEOPLE STILL DIED! D< Next playthrough with my Lynn, she's going to be all BAMF and go straight after those stupid Collectors! And that gave me a warm, happy feeling, plot bunnies ftw!

By the way Rhia, I'm ADOOOORING your drabbles, they are sooooo entertaining! <3 And I'm still working on a Joker pic for you! <3

Quoted for truth.

Yeah, I was sad in most of my games, as the only one I romanced anyone was my I'm letting everyone including me die one.

Not that I didn't enjoy ME2, but ME1 was better in lots and lots of ways - and anything they managed to streamline and make more immersive was ruined by all those really loud and weird mission complete screens. *sigh*

Which is why I am playing ME1 again. I'm going to take all my girls through 2, but only so I can get them into 3, not because I enjoy playing 2.

I think we ought to support Joker for a temp squadmate after getting his wheels fixed.

Say one of the regular squaddies gets stuck in medbay after a skirmish and Joker gets pressed into service for a side mission or two.

EDI or whoever can drive the Normandy for a bit; maybe we even need a co-pilot...

Maybe on an non-combat mission or low combat mission. Never mind that just dont go well in my head.

What we need is to add a female version of Joker to occupy one of the seats in the cockpit. She could be added for male shep.

I nominate RAZZberree.

See and that is why, coming into a thread and stating the same thing a million people before you have without doing the research just makes us think you are a troll, especially when we state over and over again the reasons why JOKER IS NOT BUBBLE BOY.

So we are justified in treating you like one. Nuff said.

LOL I'D BE THE BEST DAMNED ROMANCE OPTION EVER! And an ace freakin' pilot, Joker may not like me too much. Also, Shep would have to compete with Joker, even though Joker would sooner throw me out the airlock than romance me...hurr hurr.

Though, I must say, t'were I to be a romance option for maleShep, he better be funny, or I'm going to throw myself out the airlock!

Circle-jerk festival, how's that work in a group consisting of a majority of women? (Yes I know we have plenty of guys here too, just wondering) Actually, lol, nevermind that question no one answer that one!

That's a bit of a shame, because I was honestly starting to enjoy talking to you because you started to show an interest in at least talking with us! I'm being honest, seriously. Though you kinda gotta understand that we have about 20 pages worth of people coming in and posting the same redundant message over and over again to get a rise out of us and it starts to take it's toll. At least on my part, I hope you didn't take my post as trying to devour your opinion, because I wasn't trying to, I tend to start to ramble when we're discussing topics I like!
