How many people in here discovered ME2 via the PS3?

I'm totally up for a prompt as well! Sounds cool, man! I'm not sure I'd participate every week, since I'm lazy as hell, but I'll try! :3

I think we're getting a lot of new people because of the "free ME2 when you buy DA2" offer. Just a guess, though.

Also, I'm glad to see we have new people in here, but I don't think it's wise to open up comparisons between Joker and all other LI's, since many people here actually do like at least one other LI other than Joker. It's just to avoid confrontations.

I just talked to Zaeed after the suicide mission and he totally praises Joker, calls him 'kid' it's pretty sweet. :3

Zaeed reminds me of my late dad anyway so I totally wanted to hug him Awesome old dude.

@Sky, Fenris: I'm a PC player, I "discovered" ME(2) two weeks ago, I desperately needed to get rid of my uncontrollable Fenris (I mean the awesome Fenris the DAII-Character not the awesome Fenris De Solar ) obsession somehow and then I saw the "Sequel Celebration" ... And yes, there's never enough Fanart & Fanfic!

@Bennjoon: Zaeed is a great char, I could see him as a LI (there's Jack for M!Shep ), though I think I like him mostly because of that familiar and sexy voice.

A question for all of you, guys!
What would you do if you meet someone behaving or/and looking exactly like Joker? I mean, after squee-ing to death, repeatedly raping and doing a happy dance around him, obviously.

I know someone who acts completely like Joker who has similar physical circumstances. He is kind of more snarky and it's motorbikes instead of ships. He's probs my best mate

I could totally see Zaeed sticking around and trying to be everyone surrogate dad and Shepard being like...'are we still paying you?'. Then he quickly changes the subject cos he doesn't want to lose his tough guy image ;p He's a good team mate with Jack. They have good synergy.

If I'd meet someone behaving like Joker (can't tell for sure, haven't played ME1 yet, only seen some vids on YT), I'd be propably confused 'cause he's kinda arrogant, sarcastic, lighthearted, deflecting... (at first sight), but if I'd know him better (like Shep in 2) I'd be happy to have a friend like that - who's always there and makes me smile.

If I'd meet someone looking like Joker, I wouldn't propably even notice, 'cause it's not the looks what makes Joker so special, a lot men look more or less like Joker (even my dear husband [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/grin.png[/smilie]).

@Anny, nothing wrong with a bit of Fenris obsession, heck I suffer majorly from it, and it kinda sucks when you only have guy friends in RL to squee about him to. Also did I mention how much I love your avatar? ^-^
I really need to get Zaeed, actually I wish I could afford all of the DLC for every game *whimper*

Or... they could give us an angst-riddled cutscene where Joker/Shepard is both miserable and vulnerable and Shepard/Joker just happens to be there... Shepard sat in the corner of her chambers, head buried in her lap and hands shaking. She had much grief delt to her before, but she always took it in stride. Now however, she just couldn't take it anymore. She cried and wept and let the tears flow down her cheeks. The galaxy was lost, everyone was dead. They were now just a floating mass of metal floating somewhere in space, in a galaxy devoid of the sapient life that thrived in it no less than 20 hours ago. Hope, was lost.

Joker jabbed at the button in the elevator, forcing it to carry him up to the Captain's Quarters. When she had left Alenko to die, he left her to grieve on her own. When Ash rejected her on Horizon and when half the ground team was wiped out in the Collector Base, he just gave his condolences. Not now, however. Not after everything, everything they had been through. The elevator pinged, it had to be now or never.

He opened the door, seeing a dark empty room partially illuminated by the light in the empty aquarium. He could hear muffled sobs coming from the far end of the room. Any other time he would have been shocked at his Commander crying, but he would have understood even if she had gone mad. He limped towards her, sliding his back against the wall as he sat beside her. Joker wrapped his hands around Shepard's body, pulling her close to his chest as she needily embraced him.

Hours past, Shepard had stopped crying some time before but she still layed there, wrapped in his arms. Finally, she raised her gaze and looked into intently into Jeff's eyes as he looked pleadingly into Jillian's. Their heads slowly came together, three inches, two inches, one inch apart. Half a second until what seemed like a millenia of sexual tension would be relieved and feelings of deep love and passion would be let lose.

Then a Reaper blew them up. The end.

Would you consider finishing that off? Maybe a happier ending?

Well it wasn't "a bit" I've had a minor obsession with some DA:O chars... but Fenris - that brooding demeanour and intense gaze... And thank you, I love my avatar too, I only wish I could make one with Joker as well but I have no idea how to swapp models & headmorphs in ME2 or if it is possible at all.
Zaeed's kinda cool but I have him only because he's a free DLC. (I don't buy DLC unless it has a personal meaning to me e.g. I bought Return to Ostagar, but I'm not going to buy new armor... ) I don't see him as a father figure (not after punching him during his LM ), my Shep would see her father definetely in captain Anderson.


@Antivenger - Nice story! I could see this happen, though I'd prefer a less depressive/dark version.

Anderson is definately a father figure aswell. It makes me chuckle how defensive he is of Shep. He doesn't seem to like Joker very much. I can just imagine a whole post Joker romance scene where he's like
'Joker...really? Joker?' and shaking his head. 'Are you sure? What about Kaiden? He's a NICE BOY.'
and Shepard being all like LOL.

Love the story...but people who fail at the game shouldn't get Joker love. They should have to work for it
