It makes me feel slightly better that Casey Hudson himself was also like, *tap tap* "Is this thing on?" for his first twitter post.

I can totally out-lame you on that: I used my first Tweet to make goo-goo eyes at Ray Park.

Speaking of which, I need to make sure I follow Seth so I get all the scoops on his lurvely voice-acting. Beyond confirming that Joker will be back for ME3, I can only hope he lets slip something accidentally that finally confirms all of our hopes. Maybe we should be lurking around his wife's tweets. I can just imagine her saying something along the lines of "I was so fake-jealous when Seth got hot and heavy with Jennifer Hale's voice". And the universe imploded.

By the way, what do you think will be shown at E3 (been stalking Mr. Hudson's Twitter all day and spotted his tweet about E3)? I wanna see the Normandy in all her new color scheme awesomeness - wanting to see Joker is understood - in the trailer(s) that I'm sure they'll be unveiling to us somewhat rabid and more or less insane fans.

What do I want? Jokermance! When do I want it? Sometime during the first three months of 2012!

Same here. I can handle "Joker doesn't get banged." I can't handle, "Joker dates Random Bimbo #47" or "Joker gets together with fake!human EDI."

If we were truly forced to watch something happen, I wouldn't mind Joker getting together with Kelly; I don't like it really, but it's less of a horrific insult than if he dated some random irritating/boring NPC or, heaven forfend, EDI.

Seriously, EDI with Joker, like actually WITH Joker, is, as he stated, "creepy"--beyond words. I don't care if she gets a body, she doesn't have emotions now and if she got them she'd still have the life experience of a one-year-old. Data does not equal life experience. You can download it, even, but it's still not living. Think Data on Star Trek; yes, she'd be "fully functional," but still childlike in ways. I would feel like Joker was seriously a pedo crossed with one of those guys who digs robots like Warren on Buffy crossed with that sad Japanese dude who married a video game character. If he did that, I don't care how developed her body would be. Just because Trisha Helfer's hot doesn't mean that the ONE time she plays a character that's not hot, which is a stretch for her but doable because EDI has no body, doesn't mean that EDI has to become some stupid exercise in explotation and fanservice.

EDI/Legion might be awesome. Hell, they could even have "sex" on a level that only asari can manage right now, in a computery kinda way. But not EDI/Joker.

I agree that you're right that it would be lame and pointless, but I'm still scared the devs won't see it our way. That we're a small, small percentage and they'll say, "Most people think Joker should get some booty and it will intimidate some male fans if Shepard gives it to him, and then they HAVE to romance him if they want him to get said booty, so let's shove in some random hot crew member so nobody has to feel bad that he's not getting laid before he might die."

And I agree about FemShep--it's one of the reasons I mostly just think about FemShep/Joker. I wouldn't mind DudeShep/Joker, but the team has always shied away from homosexuality, unlike the DA devs, so I just don't expect it anymore, though it would make a nice surprise if he turned out to be bi. Interesting that Joker's porn sound was sort of gender-ambiguous, though. Who knows?

This sums everything up that I wanted to say regarding the EDI/Joker front.

Shepard and Joker have so much history together that I just don’t understand why it wouldn’t happen, or why it couldn’t!

In my play through, I kept my FemShep single, in the hopes that Joker could be available in ME3, and I have to say, even if it’s just reading into things, he really felt like her go-to! She dies saving him, he’s the first one to come back out of everyone -- he even says this after Horizon. In mine, I was platonic with Kaiden and Joker mentions that it was messed up that even though Kaiden fought with her on the frontlines, he was the one to come back first instead. (There’s dialogue along the lines of “You’re the glue that holds us together, Joker.” “I know, it sucks, doesn’t it.”) At the end, he’s shooting down Collectors to get you back safely onto the Normandy, and before credit roll, he’s standing with you after he hands you the Reaper schematics.

Really, people? Really? That’s not enough to give us a romance? What the duck.

Oh, also, am I the only one who like…squealed with joy when he shouted “How'd you like that, you sons of ****es?” when you went through the Omega 4 relay?

Well, it should mean we get more Joker interaction at least! This is good news to me, at least.

I found the remarks about Jack intriguing. She has the potential to be not just a good character (she already is), but an AMAZING character, especially if she matures a bit due to her time with Shepard's team...it could only have been good for her.
