I dunno, between Casey's hopeful Tweets and the fact that we've not only grown in support, but have made a strong case for why a Jokermance should happen, I have to feel pretty good about this. I've said it before, and I'll say it again at risk of sounding like a broken record; I have read through all crazy pages of the Garrus thread (or at least the first 700 pages XD), and it seems like we're in the same position now as they were leading up to the release of ME2. They had lots of doubts, but it ended up working out for them. I just hope the same happens for us!

Anybody know where the idea came from that Joker would only be romanceable by a Shep that had no prior LI's?
I mean, I totally have my Shep set up that way anyways, but is the rumour based on anything BW or CH has mentioned?
In my case, I just didn't want my FemShep to be a ho' by the time Joker was available. :-)

Unless Joker was in the closet in ME1 and ME2, Joker being gay-only is just about 0 in chance.
I don't think they'll restrict him only to Shepards who hadn't had a previous romance, either. None of the other romances are like that.

Ohh... =) I really like Joker without the hat. Love him with it as well, but like the idea of getting to seeing him fully. It really made his face more visible. Jupp... I wouldn't mind one or two scenes without hat, just for a little bit.

Personally, I can only see Joker as a straight guy, but if he swung both ways I wouldn't care. Or, hell, if BioWare made him gay, I'll just make a super hot M!Shep. Because as Paterik said, Joker only deserves the best! XD

This has been said already, but heck, if tali was datable for maleshep, then joker should be dateable for femshep. If bioware don't plan on fixing his disease, then who cares? I don't need "sexing" to be happy.

Whoever said it would be clever if Joker wasn't dateable unless you've remained single through the entire series, I agree but I wouldn't care either way, the storyline is amazing so far. I fact, EDI was probably added to the game she could take over if Joker were to leave.

Lastly, I think Joker is most likely to be straight. But that's only my opinion, not trying to offend anyone, and I'm not just saying that because I'm a girl.

All in all, I'm sure Bioware will find a way to surprise us.

This was only an idea of some people that it would be nice that Joker would only be available as LI if no one was romanced before.

But I must say for role playing reasons and to have more options it would be nice if Joker would be a LI even if there was someone romanced before. You could then play e.g. a femshep that romanced Kaidan but in ME2 especially after Horizon she realised that Joker is the one she always wanted although it is not clear if Joker has an interest in her too (we will see in ME3).

After Horizon if you romanced Kaidan before and tell Joker that it is over now he says something like "There is a reason why I don't date crew" - for me it always sounds as if he adds in mind "...because the only one I want is you"....

I wouldn't mind if Joker would not be straight but an LI for both femshep and maleshep. But gay only would be really cruel and I can't see Bioware doing something like this.

In ME3 we will get new squadmates - James Vega was already anounced and maybe we get a female one too. I suppose that James Vega and a new female squadmate will be available as LI for both femshep and maleshep and that there will be no change for the current LIs so that there are no complaints from the fans.

And a Jokermance is hopefully the easteregg of ME3.

I don't think it would be necessary to completely heal Joker - his condition was already improved by Cerberus and now he can walk without crutches. As long as he does not jump there is no reason why he and Shep could not do it together - they have to be a little careful but the same goes for Garrus and Shep

ha ha ha      you and me both. My Kaidan-shep who said that horizon didn't go well almost took it as Joker being a bit relieved about it. She is supposed to stay with Kaidan but if Joker would make a move on her I really don't know what would happen. Jupp, keeping all my fingers crossed for Joker realising that he feelt more for Shep than he thought and now when the reapers are coming there is no time to waste. Time to tell her (or him ) how he feels and see where it leads. In my mind it's a done deal, he will be there for my shep. Let's just hope that bioware sees it the same way

I don't think that Joker will be available just for Sheps who stayed single throughout the whole series. It seems to me too much of a leap in the dark for the gamers. Bioware was trowing romances at our feet in two previous games, it wouldn't be fair from them to assume that we wouldn't pick them up just because we MIGHT get someone in the third one. Not to mention we don't know YET if the devs would make Joker available for us. It's not like in a real life, so we have to rely on devs kindness to give us what we want. Because in real life we would have already grabbed his arse and drag him down to our lair. 
The dialog after Horizon left me hopefull as well. I was all like: "Yeah, Joker, very subtle." Despite his confidence as a pilot, I picture him very shy when it comes to relationships, so I think that he is just carefully testing the waters.

What can I say, I'll grasp any straw within my reach.
