You know, I popped in here a few weeks ago to share a screenshot, and I intended to just drop it and run because I'm far too shy for this kind of thing. But in the spirit of so many de-lukings over the last couple of pages, I'd like to make my own confession.

Is 'lurkgasm' a word? Because I've been quietly lurkgasming all over this thread.

Also: Joker may look devastatingly fine in a tux to you and I, but I bet he looked something like this when he was asked to wear it...

@phantomdragoness, that just made my day! I'd love to see some serious beard-nuzzling in ME3. And sorry that I misunderstood your previous post *goes to her shame dome* Btw, the Buffy scene was very sweet, so I don't need to put sugar in my coffee.

During my extensive research aiming to find out who the writer of Joker is, I stumbled upon lots of bizzare things, but not on actual name. Did you know that there is a thread that suggests that Joker is the real head of Cerberus?  Some people are just paranoid.

Loved that little story about Shep first trying to get Joker to shave and then thinking better of it, lol, jupp I think my Shep wants him scruffy. Oki, so the info on Joker wasn't in the tread, thanks for looking Paterik, I was about to go hunting for it myself. Looked around a bit but haven't found anything so far. Darn it =)

Ohh well... hope that who ever writes Joker is feeling very happy now because he is such a great Char. You could say that I was falling for him slowly, he funny and always there to talk with Shep. He sticks by her. In ME it was Kaidan all the way with Joker as fav-buddy. Didn't see him as a possible love interest until the second time around in ME2. When my shep got to see Joker again I was just so darn happy =) after knowing how great he was in that game I was just over joyed to see him. The ending when he comes out to the side of the ship to make sure that Shep get's on to the ship. Jupp, that was a really good scene for me.

When did you start to see Joker as a possible LI? Hmmm.... this maybe got a little long but I'm just curious. But now when I think of him as a LI to Shep it really fits. They been through everything since the first scene in the first game together. They just haven't found each other yet.

I actually...stopped drawing/posting ME stuff on there since people over there kept giving me crap about "Joker not looking enough like Joker". You know, because all art should look exactly like the source, and not like your own personal style. /annoyance. Anyway, thank you, it's nice to know someone likes it.

On another note, I'm really, REALLY shocked people are just so...reluctant to accept that Joker could be a viable romance option. Really? "Oh his bones will break, so he doesn't deserve to have a relationship of any kind." Yeah, but him dating an AI is totally plausible? Give me a break. Y'all haters need a logic upgrade. I'm glad there's a whole support group here rallying for Joker, but every so often, those kinds of comments sneak in somewhere and I just can't help but roll my eyes at it.

I do wonder, though, why they decide to have cures for certain things and not others? You can bring someone back from the dead, but you can't cure brittle bone disease? And apparently, they can cure vision, because I don't remember a single person with glasses on. Also, I just want to make Hipster!Sheploo for laughs, so you know...you devs can get on that ASAP.  

(Perhaps everyone just wears contacts in the future? I'm biased, I'm a glasses girl. Contacts freak me out.)

I'm always happy to see ME-stuff =) people like me without any artistic talent rely on those who do have them to supply us with nice pics!!

Just ignore the haters =) if they want to lose out it's really up to them. Better to focus on fun things. Load up a good save from ME2 with some nice Joker-banter and instant happy-mode. I love the moves he makes before Legions LM =)

@Paterik, I don't believe in Joker as head of Cereberus but early in this thread I floated the supposition that maybe prior to ME1 he had been a mole for Cerberus keeping TIM apprised of Alliance's movements in exchange for the promise of a cure. He would have thought "it seems harmless enough" but then he met Shepard and then found meaning to his life beyond the cockpit. Just a thought I had while trying to figure out why the writer's gave him Vrolik's of all things. *shrug*

now i can play as Joker, and i was excited about the new screenie opportunities. But ME2 is so damn ugly on my pc, its gonna have to wait til i tweak it successfully

vesp, its a shame people have to make useless comments like that. Sometimes i'll look at a new drawing, say of Tali, and see useless posts like "Whos that meant to be?" or "She should look more alien.". If they have their own interpretation they should bugger off and draw it themselves.
Maybe all this hope spreading around for us will inspire you to get drawing again

@koji-san, I don't believe that he's the head of Cereberus either, it's too far-fetched. I'd be able to believe that Cerberus kept an eye on him, because of his skills etc., and that they wanted to draft him (or get some information out of him, as you suggested) by promising him the cure, but then he met Shepard and they lived hapilly ever after
@SilentK: I actually got ME2 first (yeah, it was a free game for buying DA2), but it really got me, so I decided to buy ME1 to have the whole story-line. Joker was outstanding in ME2, so I started searching for more information about him and discovered this thread. Immediately, after reading a few pages, I concured that Joker would be great LI and never looked back

I hope that she will be able to romance Joker in ME3, don't really know what I'll do with her otherwise. Vega or some other new option perhaps. I'm really really hope that there will be a Joker-romance but I don't want to get my hopes up too much.

As I've said before, my hopes are on Cloud 9. If there's no Joker romance, the momentum of the fall will force me through parallel universes and land me in the Deep Roads of Thedas. :\\

And yeah, Cerberus hired Joker on for his skills, but mostly to keep Shepard in place. I can imagine TIM giving himself a facepalm after Archangle turned out to be Garrus. TIM wanted people under his influence, and the more Shepard made friends with her crew, the more TIM's power slipped away. Even Joker said he didn't trust TIM, and sees their "you have no choice choice" restrictive. So, Joker knows they can't trust Cerberus - I think he's one we can really trust, next to Garrus and Chakwas. *spoilers*I'm just wondering why Cerberus is after Shepard in ME3...maybe TIM used Reaper technology to indoctinate his followers to ensure they don't turn against him? Idk.*end spoilers*

BTW: I've been playing ME2 on PS3...is it just me, or is the Renegade/Paragon system much harder? D:

Oh, and if you want any sort of image in your signature, here's what you do:

4. In the address bar of this new window, copy the web address.
5. Go to your forum settings in the BioWare Network.
6. In your signature box paste the address, and place the image brackets on either side - like this (without the spaces): [ img ] http://jup.sixtypixe...nybannerme3.png [ / img ]
7. Click save.
8. On your next post, it should be in your signature!

If no, is he taller than Fem!Shep?

Some people will have some screenies from the reunion in me2 we can look at, but from my screenie that i cant be arsed to upload, femshep and him are pretty similar, maybe an inch difference. Not sure about Mshep

And jupp, if there would be no Joker-romance a nice fall from the highest cloud to the lowest of Thedas sounds about right. Deep roads maybe? Ohh well, let's just be happy and positive, a hopeless romantic has got to do what a hopeless romantic has got to do      

Have also been thinking on why Cerberus wants Shep so bad, have only got wild speculations so far... Hmmm... On the ME3 side, I really want to see Joker, what he looks like in ME3. What kind of uniform will they have now    =)  don't think that they will release any info on him soon since he isn't a previous squadmate in that sense. Keeping my fingers crossed for some nice Joker-pic sometime during the fall at least.

Joker and FemShep are pretty equal in height, with Joker being a little bit taller as I remember it. Hmmm.... don't have any good saves in that part of the game so I can't get a screenie

Joker slouches a bit so Fem!Shep appears taller, but if he should straighten up, I'd think he'd be a little taller. But M!Shep is definitely taller than Joker, I think.

@ SilentK...No problem, dear! I found the signature on the front page of this forum for use, so it's technically not "mine". XD

Ugh, I so want to see Joker for ME3 - I hope they haven't changed him too much.

Think of it this way, miss Phantom:
If he's handsomer, then it's pretty much confirmed that he will be romanceable.
That being said, I also don't want him changed.
