He would probably die from internal hemorrhaging after a few minutes. Do you know how many body parts you'd break? It's a worse idea than a Tali romance.

I'd be afraid I'd break him, and I'm so not interested in him that way.

Romance isn't all about bashing pelvises, you know.

Yes, if stomping down on him was part of the romance. Apparently everyone likes it insanely rough, what are you using flubber-grade condoms? -if you get the joke you get the interwebz-

Yes, having a meaningful encounter with a human being that actually had himself thrown back onto the floor at a great force and only came out with stress fractures is a HORRIBLE idea compared to kissing a girl that could end up in the hospital from it. You have changed my opinion, because it makes total sense now.

It was a good thing Tali took those herbal supplements and immuno stims otherwise your 'love' could have killed her. Hell she GETS SICK afterwards, but as she says it was totally worth it. And I just love, how when it really comes down to it, it's all about the sex. It's not about the the journey, it's all about the grand prize. -sigh-

But, like the Tali/Garrusmancers, I'm not giving up!

I'd hit that. If Shepard can come back from the death, then come ON, brittle bones will not be a problem! You get a freaking bone weave yourself in ME2, from the research upgrades.

Yeah, I know, there are some things that can't be cured even in TEH FUTUOR, but this should not be one of them. Joker is too awesome to not give him more than a comic relief role in the final act of this epic trilogy.

We didn't even find out what he felt about Shepard DYING FOR HIM. That felt like a humongous oversight. I hope it's being saved for an emotional conversation in ME3 where he grudgingly, awkwardly mumbles his way around the topic. I want to see more of him than just the witty, adorable banter with EDI. As nice as that was, it was... not enough.

Shepard and Cured!Joker would be epic. Two longtime friends being faced with possibilities that never were open before. It's something I'm still dying to see.

I'm pretty sure Cerberus hooked him up with something awesome.  Experimental therapy?  Cybernetics?  Gene modding?

I'm afraid Joker's heart belongs to the Normandy(and EDI).

Easy fix, just program the Shepard VI, I'm sure EDI would get a kick out of it.

Dude, I'm a guy and I'm telling you. I have a really hot femshep character I created and all I want to see is her body and jokers smile hehe. She will let him take the top don't worry so he doesn't break his bones. My femshepd doesn't mind staring at the ceiling for joker. Besides, she just wants to hear what he says afterwards. lol.

But I'm a guy and I'm saying this. Its not about the sex. ITs about the relationship of the characters and I think this romance would give ME 3 the final dose of awesomeness it needs to truly make femshep legend!

Eff the sex scene, I would give anything to have a romance that wasn't heavily invested into the sex scene, at least getting there for the most part. Garrus, your awesome and all but having a majority of the romance discussing us doing the deed made me feel dirty and like the whole thing was more of a fling anyway...

We need an epic Leia/Solo romance for this generation!

You know what I wanted at the end of KOTOR, after saving the universe and going through all that whining from Carth? A kiss. No sex. No promises. No babies. A kiss. You know what I got? A MEDAL.

I think BioWare owes me some more Joker/Shepard interaction.

"We saved the world!"

"Maybe they'll write comics about us!"

I'm going to pull a Talimancer and just start ignoring the EDI comments because it seems that and vrolik's are the only things people use as arguments. Hurray!

Please computer continue to fail...Er...

But anyway, this is why you continue to be my favorite person ever. I wholeheartedly agree, I don't know whether to laugh or cry everytime someone brings up sex as a key factor for a relationship in this thread.

I'd like to make kissy-face with Joker, if anything to probe him to say something smart to me, it would be hilarious.

ME2 establishes a sort of sibling-like relationship between Joker and Shepard. I played as a femShep and it almost felt like Shepard was a big sister to Joker.

So romancing him would be weird for me, but certainly I support the idea of having more dialogue and interaction with Joker. I think I actually squeaked in excitement when I realised you could play as Joker in ME2 - albeit briefly. With the brittle bone issue, I know having him as a team member isn't possible, but some more control with Joker would be amazing... like perhaps, implementing some form of space battle... oooooh yes please!

hehe, Jokermance [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/heart.png[/smilie]

I was kinda pissed when he didn't say anything besides "I saw you get spaced!" about saving his life. I know he's not the touchy-feely type but damn, he could have managed something.

I know! Right? He's the first person you see and trust and all you do is say "Yo. What's up?"

Where's the hug? Where's the single tough guy tear? I'd have settled for a "Don't we look awesome for, you know, dead guys?"

xD You could say the same thing about ME1 with Tali and Garrus.

But even if they don't make him romanceable, I'd at least like to see more dialogue and a more broadening of their friendship. It would be nice to be able to prod him about the 'spaced' issue and see how it would play out. I'd be happy with that.

See, people who have never had *actual* sex imagine that it is always and only rough and pounding because in the pr0n movies it looks that way on top of cars and pool tables..... besides, good relationships are built out of respect, friendship and common interests.

Shepard died to save Joker, if you let your team get wasted Shep falls to the death to make make Joker go instead of wasting time trying to pull Shepard in. There is alot of respect and mutual admiration there, an easy flow of communication between the two.

Lasting relationships are usually built on more than just "Wow, they're hot, I gotta tap that!"

I totally don't get the people who support Tali as a romance option - a 3-fingered/toed alien with a weak immune system who gets sick/has severe allergic reactions to your very DNA - who say it is too dangerous to contemplate Joker.

Boggles the depths of the mind. Image IPB
