Hehe. Imagining two things as I'm writing one of my Shoke fan fics. The first is Joker trying to teach Shepard how to fly the Normandy. the second is Joker coming back to the cockpit after getting himself a cup of coffee or something and smiling when he finds Shepard asleep in his seat.

The first makes me laugh. My Shepard at least would be difficult to teach.
The second makes me melt. That would be so cute...

Ahh that would be sweet pictures to draw of shepard. I could see it now. Femshep sleeping in his seat and while shes sleeping. The image shows him kissing her gently on the head. It gives me giggles. =D

My Shepard would be hard to teach too. Posted Image  I'd love to see any pictures of the second scene.  If Joker is a romance option in Mass Effect 3, I'm going to have to play the game at least twice.  The first time will be to complete my romance with Kaidan.  Does anyone have an idea as to what the developers mean when they say you'll be rewarded by continuing a romance from Mass Effect 1 all the way through?  The second playthrough will be to romance Joker.  I love my lieutenant, but I love my pilot too. Posted Image  How is a girl meant to choose?

You can never guess who's going to be the next would-be romance. Admittedly, Joker is way cooler in ME2 than he was in ME1.

Yeah, I said it. He was a three or four-trick pony in ME1. I liked him well enough, but he really only told you his backstory and made a few sharp jibes before going back to his cockpit. But in ME2 you really appreciate his presence, what with his being the first old ME1 mate (besides Tali) to greet you in ME2, his constant commentary on the characters and their various issues, and his crowning moment of awesome during the Normandy attack.

I agree, actually. I liked Joker in ME1, but he barely got any character development. Something like six lines total, which was sad. And then in ME2... hell of  a character upgrade. Which actually is one of the reasons I hold out any hope for a Jokermance in ME3-- usually you get to spend more time with your LI, as they're part of your squad and they travel around with you. Joker, obviously, couldn't be waltzing into combat at Shepard's side, so having a well-developed character waiting for you back on the ship balances it out.

Plus there's something very appealing about the idea of Shepard having a romance with the one guy who's been by her side through everything.

What about Garrus?

Actually, that just gave me a very weird idea. Given the fact that there hasn't yet been a homosexual male human... what if Joker was romanceable in ME3... but for both m! and f!Shepard?

I'll admit, I really don't see it, but given that virtually any LGBT romances they'd introduce in ME3 (assuming they even do) would have to be new and/or expanded characters, I can almost imagine it (through frankly, I see Kasumi being bisexual as more likely).

It certainly would be interesting in any case.

I honestly have no problem with it, so long as he's not strictly a m/m romance. My femshep will go ape**** if her male counterpart gets some pilot loving while she's shunned yet again.
My only qualm with it would be he seems to have a pretty solid interest in females but I suppose he could be bisexual. And if that's the case, then his attraction to Dudeshep would make just as much sense as Femshep, since they're both the same person.

Either way, Femshep must have a Joker romance. You know...for the sake of the galaxy

I think, now that you mention it, that this is my main problem with having him as a bisexual romance as well. He comments frequently on the females in positive ways, even if he doesn't like them, and he doesn't give the same kind of attention to the males. Sure, his responses are still usually tinted with some sarcasm when he's talking about the women, but there seems to be a whole other dynamic at work.

Like I said, I find it an interesting idea, but for those who need their LGBT fix in ME3 I find a Kasumi (assuming she even returns) romance more likely.

I didn't download her so I'll have to take your word for it. In terms of a homosexual romance, as you can tell by my sig, I'm for the idea. BUT, if Joker is the character they chose for such a romance, then it unequivocally MUST BE  a bisexual thing because my Femshep wants her pilot.

Well, it's nothing she really says or does. In fact, (minor spoilers) the only relationship she's ever mentioned as being in was hetero but for some reason I can imagine her swinging both ways really easily. She'd also be a nice departure from BioWare's usual bisexual female, who is almost always a very soft touch (Liara, Leliana, Kelly). While Kasumi definitely wouldn't be a butch lesbian (she's still very feminine) it would be a completely different type of relationship than the previous three - that is, if she ever gets over Keiji or stops lusting after Jacob.

But enough on that subject.

I think I'd go with giving him a massage.
The other options might turn out to be rather unhealthy...

Well, maybe in ME3 his condition won't even be a problem any more, because he seemed to be capable of walking and even running without the need for crutches quite well. I doubt he could've done that in ME1. So at least it seems that Cerberus offers good health care to its members.

Or maybe Mordin simply finds a cure that doesn't cause liver failure.

I can't even tell you how sad I would be if they made Joker gay or bi, no offense to anyone who is into that, but when I find out a guy likes other guys it totally kills any attraction I had for him. I really don't get the Grace types who long for people who are completely and utterly unavailable to them on even the most base level.

This is the future in mass effect. Joker doesn't need to worry about liver failure they can just grow him a new one. Posted Image

What about Garrus? He's an LI now, and there's a similar relationship dynamic at play there. But my primary Shep isn't into aliens, and doesn't see Garrus as anything other than a good friend who's got her back. Joker's been around longer than Garrus.

Oh, I would love to see an official M!Shep/Joker relationship in ME3. Mostly because I've read some truly excellent fics with that pairing. I could easily see Joker being bisexual. I'm not holding my breath on that one, though, if the previous games and general publicity have been any indicators.

No it has to be femshep. Shes his true love he. Reason she died to save him. Love can't really go any further.
