OMG I read the whole thread.... Like many I also didn't pay Joker much attention at first. Then I started going around the ship (like many of us girls do(seriously did any guy talked to all chars throughout the game on first run?)) and somehow I ended up in the cockpit. I started talking and kinda thought 'cool'. I found out he made comments after major missions, but he became my №1 char when he interrupted kissing with Kaiden ( yeah I romanced him in ME1.) But I didn't see him as a LI in 2nd part. And then mission on Horizon...<_< After that moment I understood that Joker is my absolute favourite cause apparantly our crippled pilot is the only person on that bloody ship who didn't think his problems are more important then saving the galaxy. So yeah. Oh, and also Joker is voiced by Seth Green and (God bless Bioware for doing this) looks like Seth Green. A nice bonus, don't you think? And me being a total Seth-fan....
P.S. After reading the thread and writing this my only though is: Oh, please, may voice actors NOT read this thread, pplease?*blushes*
P.P.S. I am also writing a fanfic... it's not as great as DCFG's and Raydis and the Fico and skywalker05... but it's a start? http://www.fanfictio...1/Interactions  *caution: no fluff here*

Actually I'm a guy and I did check out the and talk to every character on the first play through its the reason I made this thread. It was very sad to not have joker. The guy you died for in ME 2 not be the a LI. Bioware needs to make him one in ME 3 period. I would only make sense for them to do so. Hes got a small fan base who I think we all should be appreciated. I give you Kootos for reading this whole thing, because its long. lol.

Small Fan base? I like to think were are a small part of a big fan base.... Were just more voicetrus than the rest.

He's going to be a squadmate in ME3. He handled himself well at the end of ME2.

Joker is freakin' awesome. I would be happy with a platonic relationship in ME3, just as long as there was evidence of an actual friendship, after everything they've been through. More dialogue, perhaps an actual personal conversation, rather than just a few quips here and there. At this point he should really have the same size dialogue tree as any of the squadmates, since he's one of very few people who've stuck around for the whole trilogy.

Thanks now I'm heading over to your thread. lol. For one reason. I started a femshep and shes romancing kaiden now. Thought just in case I'm going to keep one femshep free throughout the series. Just incase bioware decides to give us some good dialogue or even a sweet little kiss scene involving joker.

While I don't mind one way or the other if Joker becomes a romance option or not, I will say that Joker is the real hero in the Mass Effect series. He saved Shep and well, hell, everyone's asses multiple times.

Hell, he was the one who was able to drop the Mako on Ilos with all the odds against him. If he hadn't done that it would have been game over.



So yeah, ME is really the story of how Joker saved the galaxy, it's just told from the point of view of Commander Shepard.

I really enjoy your POV. I agree in a sense, if it wasn't for Joker Shepard et al would be dead since Liara's digsite. So, yeah, that's one reason I decided he is entitled to get some even in fanfic LOL  I really hope they have a Joker romance option in 3 although I very much doubt it.

They had been requesting a DLC love pack for the fans, but I don' think ME creators are going to go forward with it. I mean it would get everyone happy. Just to have one mission with that special character of your choice, but still I had a feeling the odds were against the fans, but we will see still. Patients we say to ourselfs patients.

Also your fanfic was very cute. I had a good chuckle after reading it. =D

I'd love for that to happen! that's a great DLC idea as well, tbh, but i don't think it would   I'm glad you liked the story, was meant for us to have a good giggle

I'm wondering if the NEw DLC will have any new Joker dialogue in it. It would be cool if he gives some funnies before or after the mission starts. I definitely know he might comment on the big giant head.

Has anyone noticed (and please correct me if I'm wrong) that the first time Joker calls Shepard 'Shepard' instead of Commander when he's talking to her is in Mass Effect 2 when he's calling her over the radio after the final boss battle? He was so worried about her 8-)

Ha. Going to correct myself here. I think the first time is when the Normandy is blowing up. Sweet that he only breaks with the 'formalities' when he's scared or worried about her. I just love Joker. 8-)

Because Mass effect is shepards story and no one elses. They stated this in the game and the interviews this is why all the romances are centered on shepard. Sad but true? I wouldn't mind seeing jacob and miranda hooking back up those, but as for joker it needs to be dialogue or  LI.
