I'd become some rabid, raging fangirl if Joker got a girlfriend that wasn't Shepard. A friend and I were talking about it and she stated the possibility of an asari girlfriend... She always does this. And that's when I reply, "Well, Thane's gonna die in the third game." Of course, it's only to tease her.

I would support Joker romance dialogue...as long as the smart-aleck/friend dialogue is available and just as well developed.  If I can only have one, my Shepard needs a good friend and a good laugh more than a kiss while fighting Reapers and dealing with incredibly unhelpful institutions.

I don't get it, what wrong with Jokers dialogue now? If anything it's improved over the last game. As for a romance isn't he in a steady relationship with EDI? How could Shepard be so selfish?

Is it usually this quite? Nothing relevant have been said sense I last posted and that was nearly 24hrs ago.Hm..so why is the title thread limited to romance and dialogue,couldn't it branch out some? OP what is your problem?Why are your trolling me? I just came to a have peaceful conversation and cast my support Joker, is that so wrong? So I don't understand the quest for a Joker  romance or add dialogue,I was just asking question it didn't require a reply,it's only a shame the op trolling on his thread.

This ends your conversation as a troll. Get out. As for a joker romance. When ME 3 comes out. I see it happening in about a 60 percent chance. Althought for some reason. Though I just got back from horzion mission after my Femshep met Kaiden and she said it didn't go to well. Then joker stated its why he doesn't date crew members. I bet if bioware was nice we can contradict that dialogue in ME 3.

On the contrary, Seth did some REALLY sweet "romancy" stuff as Willow's boyfriend when he was in Buffy the Vampire Slayer for like 2 seasons. I always had crush on Seth Green, but watching him be so cute and sweet with Willow intesified that crush 10-fold! So yes, Seth has done romance before, and I would love it if my Shepard could be on the receiving end of it!

(And bonus brownie points if the devs allow him to be bi. My male Shepard has had no interest in any of the ladies or asari, mostly because he's been holding out on Jeff all this time! Anybody who doesn't like the thought of him being bi can simply consider him perfectly straight and make absolutely no passes to him whatsoever.)

Jokers already a prominent character and his condition obviously means he's not going to be a squadmate, but then again, who really uses all of their squadmates anyway? We still follow their stories & their dialog, Joker is an extremely important character in the games who deserves far more dialog than what he has. Let us learn more about him and talk to him as a friend or more rather than have him only around to be comic relief outside of cutscenes. His role in ME2 was a bit of an improvement from 1, but his dialog when you talk to him on the ship still leaves alot to be desired.

Love that. I can't think of any other times he's called her(or him, lol) Shepard either. Perhaps this warrants another play through... or maybe not. My husband will probably think I'm insane if I use that line of reasoning.

i'd create a new femshep just for the romance option lol. my main femshep would totally go for friendship which i would support 100%. Joker is a great character in the game. I really like that he is way more normal. Way more like people from our time than from 2183. He's taking his job seriously but always has a funny remark on his lips about everything. As for his EDI relationship thing....I really like how he is all against her in the beginning but sees how great they work together as a team. I don't see Joker as a squadmate due to his disease. He can barely walk. But him having more dialogue would just be super awesome. Romance or not. I'd just love to learn way more about him.

Besides, I think he looks gorgeous....:innocent:

thanks for reminding us how awesome Seth.. Joker is  ) I just replayed (for the 13th time yes i countedB)) through Horizon->Collector base sequence... Joker is so swe~et:wub:!!! Especially when you get dissappointed in Kaiden... But I'm getting carried away:P.
I just thought: they are making all those comics, right? :OAny1 knows if they'll make a comic about our flyboy?

Actually that would be awesomeness to all its extremes. They have a quest made for a DLC or a comic book made where shepard and Mordin go looking for a cure for Jokers disease. If they did it right it would work very well in all its glory.

Personally, I wouldn't want a cure for that. For Joker, yes, if it made his life better but only then. But not for the mere fact that a cure would make him more attractive or more interesting for the other sex. If I want a deeper relationship with Joker (no matter if in a friendship or a romance kinda way) then his disease shouldn't be something that had to be cured first.

to be honest, I don't understand, what's so wrong about Joker being gay or bi? I mean, do people still think that homosexuals are those typical stereotypes? Like, gay men being all feminine, talking about clothes and stuff? I so wouldn't mind the Joker romance option for both genders. It wouldn't change my opinion of him at all. And of course, the friendship thing should be an option for both Sheps as well. I actually find it rather boring and kinda sad, that the whole romance stuff is always limited to either straight or lesbian. Love doesn't mind the gender! But apparently it is okay to put straight girls in this awkward situation of accidentally flirting with a character of the same sex. If straight girls are supposed to handle this, then straight guys should as well, no?

These are my sentiments exactly. If he wants a cure, then I'll find one, but I personally don't need him to be cured. He's pretty damn awesome as he is.

Where did you get that info? Thats awesome! That would be a bit strange, if they could cure brittle bones. Wait, Shephard was brought back to normality after supposedly being a pile of bones and muscle, what am i thinking?

Besides they made Kelly(!) a LI (in a scary kind of way) Can't they force Joker to become a LI?

I hope in ME3 he will be our main supporter when all hell breaks loose.

Hey, finally finished reading through aaaaaaall the posts and would like to say that a Joker as a LI and more in-depth character is a must!



And looking at it from a purely practical standpoint- if you were able to "romance" Kelly, who is an NPC, then you should totally be able to romance the only non-Shepard character that's ever been directly controlled by the player! I mean really.



Also, I'd like to give a quick thanks for all the Jokermance plot bunnies this thread has spawned in my mind. =D

i feel I must always compliment and give a warm welcome to anyone who supports the threads ideas and who brings us a good compliment. Its what we've been fighting for sense I started this thread. Joker is a great character who could have some great final moments in the last game. I give everyone whos been here Kootos!
