It's summer break, the kids are off of school, so I've mostly been not near a PC alot recently, but my heart belongs to Joker, even when I'm not talking about him

Yes, I'm definitely happy about that. Oh, if you want if you check on the very first page and put some headsets on. I added something to the start of the thread. I call it jokers song.
Someone showed me how to do it awhile back. Also we got some new fan art work. Just glad we have your support still even though you've been busy with life.

I could see my femshep wearing the nice dress from Kasumi's quest and doing a little dance for joker. I think he would deserve it.

I've been frapsing a lot lately and finally managed to upload most videos. Actually I was gonna go for Garrus videos only for Clan V but ended up capturing more than I thought. So there are some Joker videos as well, and I think, more to come in the future.
I collect all links to my videos here to keep them in one place and will update this whenever I have something new. It's for all characters actually so if you are interested in other characters as well, you may want to check it out

that dress in the above picture is not from the kasumi mission. it's from a modified coalesced.ini that unlocks all casual outfits and armor. Personally I don't like the dress from the kasumi mission. it looks ...i don't know....not something i want my Shep to wear.

Agreed its the reason I started this thread and its the reason I hit it up when I can. I would just love to have one or the other and maybe both. If I can't get the romance. At least Bioware let me flirt with the guy.

Sorry, this is a repeat post (and has been edited a few times for grammar quirks) from the other Joker thread, but I will post it again because this thread is much more recent and bioware will likely pay more attention to it.
Regardless of whether a person wants to romance Joker or not, there's a few advantages with making him an option in ME3 for Bioware developers and veterans.
1) It is likely he will be in ME3, even if Shepard dies. He's the only one who can fly the Normandy with expertise, and if the suicide mission fails and he's the only one who survives, his ending (being dismissed by the Illusive Man and grounding the Normandy) didn't do his character justice; Bioware might also keep his character for fear of suffering fan wrath.
This means that developers don't need to worry about making a new character--just new romance dialogue and a couple of cutscenes, which is much easier than making a new squad-mate. Win-win: Joker gets more depth to his character, Bioware doesn't need to worry about making a new attractive romance option (a lot of people already consider him attractive anyway).
2) He has a fan base; Bioware doesn't need to worry if veteran gamers will like Joker (this thread and the fact that he is kept in ME2 attests to his fanbase). Newcomers don't know anything about him, but will probably like him. Romance option or not, he's still badass. It's hard to dislike Joker.
3) There's been some backlash over introducing so many new characters in ME2, while leaving ones from ME1 out of the picture; some fans don't like how ME2 is so 'available' for newcomers (an understandable feeling after spending so much time on the original ME). Newcomers to the ME universe won't care about Joker's previous envolvement in ME1 & 2--he will still be a novelty to them. Veterans will appreciate keeping him on the team (especially if their whole team died during the suicide mission)-- Joker is a character they know and like, and fans will be happy he wasn't sidelined. Can't say the same for Kaidan or Ashley.
4) Bioware makes great stories, and weaving Joker in as a romance would make a great one. Considering all the crap with the Reapers he and Shepard have dealt with, affection could conceivably develop and it would be a believable romance development. Joker flies Shepard's ship. Shepard saves Joker's butt from first Normandy; a stronger affection would develop with people after that. Add a few cutscenes about past exploits, discuss previous relationship problems to develop a romance or bromance, and Bioware would make a lot of people happy.
He was further developed in ME2, and gamers could play as him, even for five minutes! Bioware should continue developing his depth. Part of me thinks they are, because he had a much larger role in ME2, so we can see what ME3 brings.
