Eh I said it about f*ckin thousand times that EDI is just a stalker. Timmy is kinda overprotective maybe?
And Joker an engineer? That'd be awesome, maybe we'll teach him how to snipe some guys and he'll become an infiltrator! :3
And use his tactical cloak in a very... interesting way... & Joker's "teh priiiiiiize" will become real <3

Not sure about a sniper though. I don't see him favouring one over an assault rifle.

Don't remember if I've replied to this topic in the past, but a Joker / FemShep romance would have great potential, comedic AND dramatic.

Perhaps Bioware is planning to give this sort of content, expand on the "Kelly" model, so to speak? Someone like Gianna Parasini and Joker, non-squaddie romantic options that nonetheless have a history with Shep through all three games. OTOH, Gianna can die so she might not be the best candidate after all. Some other chick, then.

Would EDI get jealous of Shep and Joker?

2. They probably will, it would be easier to expand on the Kelly models (Kelly, Shiala, Samara, etc), then create completely new love interests in ME3.

Though I have to ask does Gianna show an interest in male shep? Cause her name keeps popping up when talking about the Kelly models.

3. I doubt it, she may be a AI, but I don't think she feels love.jealousy, and she has said they have more a symbiotic relationship then one of intimacy. To which Joker shudders and says 'ok, that was creepy'.

I thought EDI was an AI...? But, no, I don't think she had emotions either. Although, considering she tries to make jokes, who knows?



If Bioware turn Joker into a Kelly-model, I'll be highly upset. >:/ Well, no. I'll be happy I got that much, but, still...?

Gianna actually kisses the male Shep, so there's an attraction there, at least from her side. IIRC she only does it if you've been nice to her (helped her in ME1 etc.)

Still, she's potentially dead, so I doubt that bit of "ship teasing" was more than fanservice from the devs. She was always one of the more popular hub world NPCs from ME1, along with Shiala and Lorik.

Yeah, agreed. Unless they create a hot android "avatar" for her in ME3... Which of course would create instant "EDI for LI" and "Joker hate" threads... I've already seen increased Jacob bashing from Kasumi fans because of her crush on him.

Well, Shiala touches you up, but the only thing we get from Lorik is an email. O_O Do you think us girls will get some lovin' from him in ME3? Because I'd like that almost as much as I'd like a Jokermance. xD

ACtually one of the writers from Bioware had commented on my thread bout my kasumi. Yeah I was one of them.

Well, I'm fairly sure that EDI has some feelings. If she has intelligence and self-awareness, there's not much stopping EDI from having feelings, right? I can be wrong though. Any case, while I never play Femshep, I do support Femshep and Joker Lovings, can't blame you for liking him, a guy with humor and carefree personality is always fun.



Personally, If they are planning on developing the relationship between EDI and Joker further (Remember that love doesn't need to have anything to do with sex), I think they could have both options open, so to speak. Like, if FemShep doesn't romance him, some development between EDI and Joker occours instead. Would satisfy all parties, no?



The most likely thing to happen though, is that EDI and Joker will not have a romance I think and with further support from this thread, it's likely they will consider Joker as a LI.

I'm pretty sure that when you bring Legion on the Normandy for the first time and have a chat with Jacob and Miranda, Shep asks why it has a N7 piece of armour strapped to its arm, then Jacob replies "battle trophy?" and Miranda says that this would imply emotions that AI don't have. But then again, EDI seems to care for the crewmates and establishes a friendly relationship with Joker, so maybe people of the Galaxy give AIs too little credit?

I wasn't saying that AIs and EDI don't have the capacity to love, I just don't think that love would form between her and Joker. I find it to be more friendly affection then anything, I just don't see the romance in it.

I think it's possible that both Legion and EDI have something at least similar to emotion, or feeling. Based mostly on the fact that Legion has "No data available," on why he's wearing the N7, and EDI says after the suicide mission that she FEELS the ship.



So, yeah. I think AI's have emotion. But not in the same way organics do.



But Joker is still ours. STAY AWAY EDI! ¬_¬
