I agree, Carilynn. I do think Joker would avoid the subject. But a lot of gamers want an explanation, so I've set it up in such a way that Shepard says an inappropriate joke about it, and small conversation and many feelings follow. But this being Joker, and the Shep of the story being a complete f*cking b*tch(!!) it's mostly going to be their internal emotions and thought processes. IF I can pull it off.



But really, I hate myself for setting up Joker with the b*tchy Shep in my story. She's horrible to him! >:'(

i said i kid lol i wouldn't really get that angry i am just like blah with the whole since we are talking about joker we must include the blue orb.... its like people think her and joker are connected at the hip which they are clearly not lol just like how i get annoyed with the kaidan and carth if people hated carth they audio hate kaidan :/ its just dumb lol and one of my peeves I apologize

You know out of all the characters bioware has created why is it every time I see Femshep kissing joker it only looks more natural then any of the the other characters they have created.

Oh, yes I'm so avoiding eye contact. I think its more of a human element. I think kaiden is good for the starter relationship from ME1 to ME3 where they developed theirs from the beginning. I think joker is one of those final moment realizers. As a writer the way I see this flushing out like I've wrote in the past is at the final Battle Femshep and joker grab each other by the hand and she kisses him. Then after the boss fight comes the good stuff, but I think it would make for an epic scene. After all the time they have shared together as friends and all the battles they have found. After her dying for him. It would only truly make sense. =)

excatly though i would think they would make it more dramatic like she is on a planet while he is in space then a reaper comes after the normandy. He tells her whats going on and says he has a feeling that things could be ending badly and when he is about to tell her how he feels the communication cuts out O_O then after awhile of NOOO and WTH happened to joker? smoke begins to surround shepard and who she has with her for the mission at the time and it's the normandy

In regard to romances, I think ME3 will follow ME1 and 2 scheme.

1. Start of the game - Shepard is separated from the rest of the crew. Some plot device is used to explain the possibility of changing appearance and class (but I hope the whole dying/ressurecting stuff won't be repeated).
2. Short tutorial for the people new to the game. We meet first two human squad members (kind of Kaidan/Ashley, Jacob/Miranda).
3. The main part - gathering resources, allies and armies to fight the Reapers + 3-4 main missions (like Therum/Feros/Noveria/Virmire or Freedom's Progress/Horizon/derelict Reaper/IFF). Development of a romance.
4. Triggering the final mission. Romantic conclusion of the relationship.
5. The end ------> oh, and I want an awesome, epic death for my FemShep. I know, most would like to keep Shep alive, but  I'm a sucker for the "ultimate sacrifice" ending.

Agreed! This is what I've been also thinking will happen. Some people think ME3 will begin with twelve squaddies and a fully upgraded Normandy...

Yep, the new male and female leads. Don't forget the sacrificial lamb, in that Wilson / Jenkins mold.

3. The main part - gathering resources, allies and armies to fight the Reapers + 3-4 main missions (like Therum/Feros/Noveria/Virmire or Freedom's Progress/Horizon/derelict Reaper/IFF). Development of a romance.
4. Triggering the final mission. Romantic conclusion of the relationship.

I do hope that the continuing and new romances develope differently. The ongoing ones should have a couple dynamic in place, even though that might mean the squaddie becomes a former squaddie. The new ones, including the J-man hopefully, follow the standard pattern.

5. The end ------> oh, and I want an awesome, epic death for my FemShep. I know, most would like to keep Shep alive, but  I'm a sucker for the "ultimate sacrifice" ending.

I hope there's a _possibility_ for such an ending.

Agreed! This is what I've been also thinking will happen. Some people think ME3 will begin with twelve squaddies and a fully upgraded Normandy...

Yeah, I think we will get entirely new squad members and the old ones will have cameos or play a supportive role. And I bet we'll get the Normandy SR3 somehow, without any upgrades (so we start upgrading from scratch)

I'm not sarificing my Femshep for Joker. My femshep is to much of a bad ass to get killed even on the hardest difficulty of the game. My femshep is jokers heroine and I'm not going to lie she'll survive and keep joker waiting for love at the end. Trust me my babies got plans for him.

I really don't want an entire new squad and stuff. I just want them to work with what we had, make it go out with a bang among friends (or trusted comrades), not with a bunch of people my Shepard barely knows.

Plus, unless you die again and more years pass and your squard separates again, I can't think of a good reason for your squad to not be there. Sure, some may have died in your playthrough, but most (even ones who say you just have their services) have good relations with the Shep and it doesn't seem consistent for them to just leave.

If you die at the end of ME3... I don't know what I'll do... o_O I probably will lose all faith in Bioware.

I don't believe we'll get our old squaddies back. Given the possible outcomes (dead/alive) it would be much easier for BW to sideline them and create the new ones. I wouldn't like this choice, I'd prefer my old buddies, but I can see it coming. Look what they did to Wrex.

As for dying, I hate the "happily ever after" endings, so an epic death works for me, but I get the feeling that we'll be given  multiple endings. So everyone will be happy
