So, am I out $20 on this game purchase from Direct2Drive? Tried installing the game, but after agreeing with to the EULA, it just cancels out of the install. I'm assuming it has some compatibility issue with Windows 7 64-bit.

I use D2D and I have W7 64, and ME works fine for me. I never had an issue with the install.
The only times I had issues with the installations of ANY game from D2D is when the download gets messed up (i.e. corrupted file, shows 100% downloaded when in fact some files didn't download, etc.).
What I usually have to do is I shut everything down except for the Anti-Virus and the Download Manager. Delete the downloaded file and download it again. If that still doesn't work, then hopefully someone else has a different solution that could work. :/
