I'm 29, with girlfriend, and don't plan on stopping playing games any time soon. Its about balance. Who's telling you you're too old? If they're not 70 yet, tell them they're too young to be this crotchety! Lol. If I reposted here... please forgive Bioware, they know not what they do (in regards to forums...)
Peace,
Abax

38 - Married with 3 kids and play games every chance I get. It only gets better too, when your kids start playing. My son just discovered Mario for the first time and he is just as fascinated with him, as I was the first time I played.
Besides, what's the alternative, watch TV? Honestly I would get extremely bored of that.

I'm 29. Computers and video games are my hobby.
People look at you weird for this. But how am I any different than the person who spends all their time watching football, or going bowling after work? This is how I spend my time after work and nobody is going to make me feel ashamed of it.

I'm a 34 year old female. And strangely, I've found many this age love gaming. When we were kids there weren't any games, except Pac-Man. So now we've grown up and made games for ourselves.
So enjoy. It's like interactive TV.

I'm 29 and have two kids. I don't concider myself too old to be playing games. Not only that, but I enjoy playing with my seven-year-old daughter (not Dragon Age, though. That is for grown-ups only).

The average gamer age is 30, becuase we've all grown up on games, it's the perception that it's only for kids. Case in point the game has adult content in it and is marketed at the 17+ crowd.
I'm 35, married with two kids. I love gaming and don't plan on ever stopping, to me it's just like watching TV except that I'm actually engaged in what I'm doing.
Gratz on the kiddo. And be ready to give up a lot of play time with the kiddo coming.

I'm 33 with one 3 year old (B-day today, BTW) with another one on the way in March. No way I'm too old to play!
I think it's safe to say that most of us grew up playing games on either the PC, consoles, or both. It's a hobby we nurished over the years. It's like golf, except cheaper.

Im not as old as you are yet, im 22 and a huge fan of games. Especially the type of great with a great story =p mostly RPG's =D eventhough i have been with my GF for almost 4 years, and we have been living together for the last 2 im still playing now and then, allthough not as often as before =p The so called " late night playing sessions" that was plentifull when i was younger are replaced with other late night activities =p
All my friends that still play video games play social games like FIFA and Forza motorsport, tekken etc etc.... but im somehow stuck with the single player RPG games =p and loving it! Allthough i doubt my GF is =p:lol:

Congrats on the kid!
Secondly, I'm 22, and I've been told the same thing by my relatives. When I was 16, they said the same thing. When I was younger, they told me I shouldn't waste so much time on it. Really, it's just that people care about you and want to make sure you have your priorities straight so that you'll be successful.
Of course, the only person who can decide what is good for you is you--you're an adult, and it's your prerogative. Gaming only becomes a problem when it begins to interfere with the rest of your life. As long as you treat it as a fun pastime that doesn't negatively influence other aspects of your life, it's not a problem.
I mean, if you think about it, the first RPG, D&D, was created by some guys in their thirties for a bunch of other grognards who were all in their twenties and thirties as well. One of the first modern miniature wargames, Little Wars, was written by HG Wells, and though it was simple enough to be played by children, many adults played it as well.
So like I said, it's up to you to decide whether you should concentrate less on gaming. If it's not negatively impacting anything, and you put priority on the important things in life, then it's all good.

You're only too old to play games when you believe you are. To slightly paraphrase George Bernard Shaw, "We don't stop playing games because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing games."
At 32, I've been playing one form or another of video/arcade games for the last 28 years and I have no intention of stopping until my decrepit fingers simply cannot hold a controller or use a keyboard. Hopefully they'll have neural interfaces by then.
