Dear Bioware,
the strangest thing happend to me today when i arrive from work (sorry to bother everyone with this) !!
I have the PS3 collector`s edition of the game and when i came back from work today, my dog actually ejected the game from the ps3 and chewed one of the corners of the disks, making it unreadable.
Is their anything i can do besides going out again and spending the entire 96$`s for the CD ??? i`d be willing to mail out the CD to whatever address and even pay for a new copy of the disk but i want to avoid spending the entire amount.. hell, i`d even download the game from the PS3 network (i presume all my character data will be lost also ???).
please help me out in any way possible.. DAMN DOG !!
thanks in advance !
(yeah, i know, i`m a douch for not turning off the ps3`s power using the back-switch.
Dear BioWare:: Help please

you're probably SOL on this one.... EA/bioware isn't really responsible for your dog chewing on your game discs.

You could always shoot the dog, then with all the money you'd save on dog food and vets bills you could easily buy another disk.

You just need a standard disk. All the stuff you downloaded and your characters will be on your HD.

Oof. Sorry to hear that happened to you. Dogs are too smart for their own good.
Check out http://warrantyinfo.ea.com or, if you are in the US, call 1-650-628-1001 for information on how to replace your disc.

What!? How on earth did this thread get a developer reply when there are far more pressing issues with DA:O affecting a lot of PS3 owners? As much as I love BioWare and their games, this is like cherrypicking the easiest query on the page!
(btw no offence OP, I can understand where you're coming from)

This is very urgent.. LOL.. i'll be NOT playing DA:O for about 3 weeks LOL !!
i haven't put the game on hold for more than 3 days since it came out !!!
but yeah, i guess it was a question they COULD give an answer too..

So we get an official response about some guy's disk getting chewed by his pet (no offense OP lol), but absolutely nothing on any of the long list of technical issues in DA:O plaguing PS3 owners? What a joke.

Remember we got an official response about RtO saying it's Sony's fault for the delay.

I was happier thinking they just didnt read ps3 concerns. Now I know they are avoiding the problems that would acually require some thought. Shameful.

I like to think this was a question they easily had an answer to. least it shows they ar reading the forum.
questions about patches and everything else, can be dicier giving, if they get delayed how many people would scream about it being late or taking forever.
and we do not know they are avoiding the issues. more like saving time from the incessent number of threads that would be started asking when the patch will be released.

To return in topic, is there any warranty on similar problems if a customer lives outside U.S.A. ?
For example I live in Europe if for some reason mine DA:O disc may be damaged or broken should I require a substitute ?
I think it's a more interesting thing than speaking a lot of RtO delay.....
EDIT : I'm sorry I didn't read well, it seems that only the Phone Number is for USA customers, so I think the information in that side should be correct for worldwide users, am I right?
