So I use a macbook pro...har har har...laugh all you want...
anyways I use XP SP3 through bootcamp and Mass effect 2 ran fine, but I got my hands on Win7 both 32bit/64bit through my university so I was thinking about cleaning out my XP partition and install Win7 64bit.
My question is, will Mass effect 1&2 run on 64 bit Win7? and if so are there problems running during the game?
And I know my save files are in the C:Documents/Bioware/Mass Effect 1 or 2. If I just save those files, my saves should still be there after I reinstall and put those files back correct? I use steam btw.
Thanks all
Win7 64bit and Mass Effect 2

Yea, they'll run fine. I'm running Win7 Pro x64 and haven't had a single bluescreen or crash since it came out. I had some issues with ME1, but I think that was just ME1 in general, not anything to do with Win7.

Running Win 7 64bit, crashed only twice in ME2. F5 is your friend anyways so wasn't a loss. Re-playing ME1 now and so far no problems there either.
If you only copy the folder with the saves and NOT install ME1, you can still import into ME2 and if you ever re-install ME1 continue with the old saves.

I got win 7 64 bit and I freeze up all the time. I'm thinking it's more of a game issue then a windows issue. No other game I got has this problem

Running Win 7 64-bit with 8 GBs of RAM and a Radeon 5850. Never crashed once!
