i'll vote for kaiden back. because



1. it's just too epic not to have the kaiden/ash decision play through right to the end. come on - that's just awesome that it played through into me2 and if they make that person partyable in me3, well, bioware just rocks



2. i love kaiden and my fem shep is staying true to him. my fave romancable npc of any bioware game ever

Poor guy finally was starting to have a bit of a normal life again and WOOSH here comes femshep and just about shatters that right there. So he takes it out in anger, frustration, adrenaline no doubt still in his veins from the attack. I'm surprised it wasn't worse. Thankfully it wasn't.

I know Kaidan doesn't do it for everyone but I dunno... this guy has been faschinated with femShep since near the beginning of the game. He had me when he slipped up at the Citadel while checking the view with Ash and femShep.

I want my Kaidan back. He's worth the wait!

Same for me. I got my devoted Kaidan shepard. I also got my other Shep that can choose between Garrus and Thane when I need too.

I support Commander Kaidan but I also support the "OMG, THANE YOUR CURED" storyline for my second femshep. Garrus will always be my secret lover >

My main Shep is Spacer/War hero, complete paragon, hated working for Cerberus as morally disagrees with pretty much everything they've ever done and at the first oportunity told TIM to go screw himself or words to that affect, particularly satisfying ending ;-)

My FemShep is Earthborn/Ruthless (I think that's the option - the one with Torfan). I hadn't planned for her to end up that way, but that was the profile that I kept playing on with ME1. I figure it works out, though - she's had a hard past and understands that, while she's mostly Paragon, sometimes bad things have to be done for the greater good. She's my main character - the one that will stay with Kaiden - and she makes choices the way I would do so.



Then I'll be going back to ME1 and making an all-Paragon Shep to take through ME2 with Thane and an all-Renegade Shep to take through with Garrus. Have all my bases covered for ME3. xD

Went back and checked it out...very interesting...the Sovereign thing...I'm with Joker on that part...but I thought EDI's joke about Joker's extranet bookmarks being illegal in council space was hilarious.

The shortness of his role in ME2 was disappointing but I didn't think he was out of character or even unreasonable on Horizon. I mean, how can he even be sure it's really Shepard in there? She died, was experimented on for 2 years by a shady organization and then turns up working for them. Miranda even says that if it was up to her, she would've put a control chip in Shepard's head. I kinda felt like Shepard had to prove it was still -her- before they they could get back together.

It would be quite interesting to see a chip situation come back into play in ME3. Especially if Shep tells TIM where to stick it at the end of the game. And then Kaiden can be like, "Hello? Super-shady terrorist organization? Are you surprised?"... all before he helps Shepard out. xD

Joining the Kaidan fan club. I too hope there will be something awesome for those of us who didn't go looking for love elsewhere when ME3 comes out. None of the LIs in ME2 did anything for me anyway. Garrus was too much of a best friend to be anything else. Thane was cool and interesting, but not as awesome as Kaidan. And Jacob was well, a Cerberus guy and also not Kaidan.

BECC4 you're just going to have to keep me informed about all this stuff...I didn't talk to many of the characters at all because I didn't  like a lot of them and I avoided the LI's because you just never know how the conversation is going to go. When does Miranda say this?

But I have no doubt they were going try and control Shep...Liara said as much...that they were going to use him/her for their own purposes(paraphrasing).

I don't think they'd use something like that for ME3 though...the focus will probably be more about the reapers.

Colonist/War Hero for my main, paragon Shep.  She didn't take the horror of the attack on Mindoir very well, and was finally able to rid herself of survivor's guilt when she saved the colony on Elysium in the Skyllian Blitz.  She's a person who just wants to help others, and she never had been in love before she met Kaidan.
