on a completely unrelated note, my husband just punched a pijak in the face. it was hilarious. didn't know you could that. i think he might still be upset at that monkey that stole the chip in ME 1...
Haha, on the Krogan world? I did that too, more because it gave me the option than any actual desire to hurt the little guy.
Reminds me of Kaidan's comment when you run them over in ME1, something like remind me never to get on your bad side.

108 pages! Well done, KAAS members!
What would you like to see as a possible interaction with Kaidan in an ideal version of ME3? Besides all of the delightful obvious things, I'd love it if my Shep got the chance to wake him up with "JOKER'S WAITING FOR YOU ON THE BRIDGE" after spending the night together in her quarters, just to tease him.
First off I want him back on the crew, maybe an observer for the Alliance to check Shep is back to her senses. Then I want an angsty fight/make-up scene, then I want the whol, I thought I'd lost you I won't lose you again smexy scene, then kissing whenever it takes my fancy even mid-mission should the urge take me and a suitably epic ending where they get their happily ever after. That's fair isn't it?
What she said
I'm also looking forward to being able to fight alongside him again...I missed that

Pfft, so much I would love to see but I keep pulling the reigns on my musing mind. Like Kaidan I always leave a way out, meaning I'm always keeping disappointment in mind when thinking about ME3.
Gotta love contradicting character traits, fangirl musings fighting logical down to earthness...it doesn't mix I tell ya!
Have you seen the 'lovescene' between Shep and Thane? The moment he steps into her cabin she says his name. And she says it soooo nicely. The first thing I want to hear coming out of her mouth when she sees Kaidan again is just 'Kaidan' and then spoken like she did with Thane, all pleasantly surprised and yet incredibly caring, soft and filled with emotion.
Hah, that should mess with his mind for sure!

Kaidan comes barging into Shep's cabin sort of like he did the night before Virmire. Shep gets up and confronts him at her desk, leaning back against it with her arms crossed over her chest. Kaidan looks like he's winding up to have another explosion similar to Horizon and you can see Shep stealing herself to deal with it when suddenly we realize that not only has Kaidan been silent for longer then he should have been but he's not even looking at her. She follows his gaze and sees him staring at the picture of him she's kept on his desk. She turns to go feed her fish glancing sidelong at him as she passes saying, "You had problems moving on in two years. For me it's only been a few months."
After that, it gets hazy as to what actually happens, but Shep steals his thunder to a small degree between the picture and saying that. I do know it leads to smexy time with Shep momentarily pressed up against the aquarium in a fit of newly released passion. The camera catches it from inside the tank.
*cough*
As to ME1 and ME2 squadmates. I like pretty much all of them with a couple exceptions. I conceived a bone-deep loathing for Liara early on. I found her to be somewhat like interacting with an over-sexed 12-year-old who keeps hitting on you. She disturbed me, frankly.
And I'm not so fond of Jack either. She's too much angsty rebel without a clue for my taste.
The others I more or less like. It was always seriously tough to leave Ash on Virmire. I tried for a long time via saves and loads to leave Liara's butt there. I think I devoted close to an entire day trying everything I could think of to nuke her creepy blue butt.
I like Garrus a lot; I thought about romancing him, but it just didn't feel right. I do have one femShep that killed Kaidan on Virmire (did it on a dare from my husband who said I couldn't do it), and she might pick up with Garrus although the idea of picking up the paramour achievement and what it might mean has me leery about it.
I like Tali quite a bit too although she really only picks up in interest in ME2. In ME1, I used to trigger her long, dry explanations of Quarian society and start reading while she droned on. Luckily they decided to actually give her more personality in ME2 rather than leaving her as a walking Quarian Wiki.

I like this, a lot! But I see an argument first somewhere public a bit like Horizon and being all business like, Shep makes some comment about continuing their 'discussion' later, leaving Kaidan vexed.
Then later, still vexed Kaidan comes up to her cabin ready to continue shouting at her and sees the pic ....... roll above.

Hm. Not sure. I think I've largely off on my own silly romantic bent lately because I keep picturing Kate (my Shepard, for reference) having to essentially pull his posterior out of the fire a'la Virmire just to get him on to the ship; I keep seeing her barking for him to keep his head down in a subtly vulnerable not-losing-you-again kind of way.crimsonrhodelia wrote...

Though I'm very much in tune with the idea of him seeing - and refering to - her having his picture in her cabin. There's something very powerful about that, doubly so with the scene of looking at it just before heading off. I would want there to be some friction and frustration going before they get back together - the ability to vent out the hurt before moving on, in a sense.
Oh and I very much want the ability to lean on him for support at some critical moment(s), akin to the scene by Shepard's locker in Mass Effect 1.
Other than that, I'm fine with him being his ordinary, sweet funny self.
Dealing with Jack reminds me of dealing with guild members in their teens in various MMOs, actually; no offense to anyone that young. I mean sure, I can see her problem, but ye gods does she strain my patience.frylock23 wrote...

And then EDI says, "That was a joke." And they look around awkwardly. =P

Yeah posted something similiar way back in the thread and believe Michelle was thinking the same thing, perhaps others as well. Perhaps since we all thought the same thing, Bioware might think along those lines as well. We can hope

Indeed, it's a bit like when they show you a shot of a coffee mug in a movie, somehow the mug becomes instrumental to the plot. So I'm hoping that the pic, at the very least Kaidan becomes instrumental in ME3.
