Don't know how many ppl here are on LJ or belong to the fandom secrets community, but there was some Kaidan love shown there by someone. See secret #177

EDIT: Fixed Link

EDIT 2: Tried fixing it again. It does work now.

As long as the love isn't from Lilith or some doctor on the citadel ;)

It almost seems as if not making Kaidan available in ME2 creates the "want what you cannot have" effect and pulls in people who never thought much of him in ME1. He's getting a lot more loving now than he ever got after ME1's release. Can't compare to all the hate, but still...at least it's nice to see :)

I've never seen a picture that I felt understood me so completely.

After that "Jacob's crotch" thread, I hope they do some hilariously gratuitous crotch shots of the guys like they did with Miranda's butt.

I'd die laughing.

And then I'd stare with a silly grin on my face.

I liked the one about Pilot. I laughed to myself because my husband said the exact same thing the firs t time he saw the collectors.

I love Fadom Secrets. It brings me much amusement. :D

And now Pilot and the Collectors will always be linked in my mind. I'm not sure how I feel about this.

Interesting since Talifans wanted a romance with Tali after ME and got it in ME2...maybe it means we'll get something great in ME3. Okay, don't knock my weird logic.

We just need to make our presence strong. We won't be as big as the Talimob, but considering the size of the Garrusmob before ME2, I think we have a chance.

I want to see a return of the tastefully done sex scenes with Kaidan. The ME2 ones were... kind of ridiculous.

I'd like to see Kaidan abs. I mean, you can see them through his shirt! They must be glorious.

Garrusmob? How big were they?

I don't remember seeing them that much tbh. That's the strange part.

Perhaps the Garrusmance was a byproduct of the Talimance?

Not unlike the gratuitous Jacob abs... That whole romance felt sleazy to me, though. There's only one human male for my Shepard, and he's not a Cerberus flunkie.

Not that big, actually. I would pop in from time to time. It was mostly a handful of devoted fans that kept the thread alive for 2 years. Now, we have to do the same until ME3. BioWare listens to their fans, you just gotta be persistent.

Yeah, the Jacob abs were superfluous... I mean, I like abs, but not crazy overengineered abs.

You guys should let Raphael Sbarge know how much you appreciate his voice acting. I did that about a year ago, and he responded to me personally and mailed a signed photo of himself. Total fangirl meltdown moment for me, I've been a huge fan of his since Knights of the Old Republic.

I've seen him in a few TV shows as well, mostly playing conflicted or contemplative type characters not unlike a few of Ken Spacey's roles actually.

Years ago I went to a DragonCon with my sis to meet Neil Gaieman (she's RL friends with him) and decided to go to Mark Hamill's presentation.  He really didn't discuss Star Wars at all.  Instead it was mostly about being a VA and how challenging it was.  How him and Tim Curry became really good friends, shared ideas and whatnot.  It really sounded like being a VA was quite difficult.  You have no facial gestures or body language to convey meaning.  It's all through your voice.

One of the interesting aspects of how they have done some of the more recent BioWare games is by actually capturing the VA's expressions with their lines.  It adds that extra touch of realism and compounds the already emotion charged voices giving us some really wonderful moments in their games.

And to be honest, that's why I play for.  If they can tug just the right strings and make me feel that much empathy....  that's a solid gold in my book.

When I first met Kaidan in ME1, I wasn't etirely too sure of him.  Before long though, you learn Kaidan is is a very deep character.  Part of what makes him special is that he's simply Kaidan.  He doesn't have to run around acting like a Krogan to impress people.

He's a glass half full kind of guy who is quite aware of the feelings and opinions of those around him.  If any one character in ME1 could be described as an anchor, it's Kaidan.

Me too.  Similar to the way they did Jacob's... but different.  Those abs seemed too overdone.  Not even real they looked so ridiculous.
