How was it Scaper? I've been at my 4th ed DnD game all day. Need more Kaidan.
It was good, not the greatest werewolf movie ever (I still say Wolf is), but it does do the original movie justice. And the makeup work was just fantastic, one of the best looking werewolves I've seen.
Only played DnD 4e only once as a little side thing to the WtA game. It was supposed to be several stories, but half the gaming group boycotted playing anymore 4e. I didn't think it was too bad, not the best, but once you got the hang of it you could at least get something done and not have an encounter take up the entire gaming session.

I thought my FemShep should send the two people in her party to save Ashley, while I went after Kaidan. Then Joker could swoop down and pick us all up (sometimes swooping is a good thing)

She mentions having emailed Garrus several times and not getting a reply, and asks if there's some way you can get in touchwith him for her and thank him. She then kinda half-heartedly adds that she'd like to see you as well. She actually seems pretty caught upon the guy, at least I think she does. I wish I'd remembered the exact words she uses.
In my mind this excludes her from being the "mysterious doctor" on the Citadel Kaidan mentioned. Or is that just wishful thinking?

Oh of course we do, that's why I made the distinction between romantic and purely sexual involvement.MICHELLE7 wrote...
Perhaps women include the personality in their assessment of a guy because they're thinking long term where as a guy might be thinking of a one night stand. When a guy is ready to actually settle down I would hope that he would take into consideration her personality as well as her looks.
I only meant to suggest that it seems less common for a woman to become sexually interested in someone purely based on looks. Maybe to some degree, even unconsciously, they are always considering someone's long term prospects. So while a woman may appreciate a guy's looks or become interested because of them, the desire to sleep with them wouldn't occurr until they got to know them a little better.
For guys this is not so often the case; if she is attractive, the desire is almost a given. However, that doesn't imply anything about whether we'd consider that person for a long-term relationship.

The person on the roof tells you not to send Joker up there because it's "too hot". But the Normandy is a warship, a frickin' Alliance Frigate! The Geth aren't going to shoot it down with small arms, that's crazy talk. Get up there and get them, Joker, goddamnit.

Oh I don't know, I think it really depends on the man or woman in question.
I will agree that overall it seems as if some women are evaluating men based upon long term potential as opposed to blantant and in your face unbridled lust, but I think that has more to do with societal expecations of female behavior/double standards regarding sexual experience, etc.
Most women (generally speaking) IMO learn from a young age that boys are supposed to be gross/obnoxious and pervy and girls are supposed to be all sweetness and nice. A lot of this is re-inforced by the media and even well meaning parents who give the "little girls aren's supposed to get dirty" kinds of lines and "no since your a girl you can't have a toy truck or a chemistry set, here's a doll be a pretty princess and daydream about marrying a handsome prince"...to be a female (one who identifies as straight, not sure how things go for lesbian/bi ladies) in a society often means that your encouraged and conditioned to want all the claptrap romance/sweetness/happily
ever after with prince charming kind of stuff.
And for the record I don't think that there's anything at all wrong with wanting a happily ever after (whether your male or female, straight or gay), but what I am saying is that women are largely pushed towards wanting the whole hallmark shabang while men are pushed towards getting as many notches into their bedposts as they possibly can before they get nabbed by the "old ball and chain".
I think it's the fault of societal conditioning and not anything that's dead set in women or men.
I can't really proclaim to speak for all women, but I do think that a lot more of us can and do consider individual men we meet/see on a purely physical/sexual basis, but not everyone is comfortable with expressing it....especially considering that even as liberal a society as we have become, it still seems weird to some people to hear women express themselves sexually or be downright dirty and lewd about men we find attractive.
And I do apologize for sounding all rambly serious here....I've been riding a caffiene high and on working on class stuff most of the night and am in that sort of mode....I probably need a good dose of shirtless Kaidan to help me get over it...

Agreed...that bit never really made sense to me...I would have loved to have both Ash and Kaidan back with me after Virmire.
The Normandy was top of the line, it should have easily been able to get back there and get everyone fairly quickly...silly devs!!

Kaidan
Mean score: 4.73
Median score: 5
Std. Deviation: 2.631
Even Zaeed is more popular than Kaidan. Kaidan is the second lowest ranking character, after Morinth, according to my survey.

1. Why are you posting this on the 100+ page Kaidan thread?
2. Why are you not posting these things on your own poll thread?
