Same here. But we won't know till the game is released. Just look a the speculation concerning ME1 LI's having cameos in ME2. Casey Hudson had confirmed they wouldn't be squadmates and fueled some rage by doing so.
And yet there was a war between those stating it would be a simple cameo and those refusing to believe Bioware would do such a thing. Even I never believed Kaidan's role would be THIS small.
They kept us in the dark until the street date was broken and people playing confirmed it was just a cameo.

We'll be living in fear for a long time to come, never knowing for sure if he'll stay a cameo or is returned to full squad status. Heck he could be given his own ship in ME3, indirectly fighting at your side and thus play a major role....which would suck. I really want to see him back on the Normandy and have him in my squad, hearing his voice outside of the player initiated dialogues when he comments on stuff while out on a mission.

The only way I'll be relieved about it is if they confirm that he is a squad mate...they did let us know that Tali was returning as one before the release of ME2 even though Garrus was just speculation. When it gets close if I don't hear that he is one...then I'll start getting extremely concerned or hysterical.

Yeah, my husband pretty much thinks I have gone off the deep end. You think he would be used to my obsessions by now. He was looking at me like I lost my mind when I would start randomly laughing reading these posts. Yesterday, he would stop playing at stare at me until I acknowledged that he was doing so, just to see how long it would take for me to notice something outside of my little bubble. When he got to the point last night with the pods, I laughed again when Lilith got liquified and he told me wow, that was harsh. Sometimes they just don't understand. I love all of the liquifying be done here, by the way. Makes me giggle like a school girl, I swear.

Jacob = Dirty. Sorry, he really does creep me out. And while you did a wonderful job putting Kaidan's face on Jacobs body, it just didn't work for me. The cropped version is a million times better, but I guess I am like some of y'all and I need my Kaidan to not have under 3% body fat...which reminds me THANK YOU for all of the shirtless Kaidans and also for the few pages of Hugh Jackman. His body = Kaidans body...for me anyway.



As for screwing TIM (who I wanted to shoot in the face for the whole game), I don't know if anyone else did this, but my first play through I sent the data to the Alliance, and every other time I have kept it for myself. It will take the Alliance 5 years to decrypt it, but EDI can do it in a year (hopefully sooner with her locks off maybe?) I am hoping this will give me my edge for the Alliance to trust me again.

Thinking about this line again, if he's responding to the "five minutes/still have plenty of stress to work out" option, I completely understand why he said it. Kaidan knows that he's just too good of a lover to finish the job so quickly.

Oh yes, I'm thinking along the same lines..Any job worth doing is worth doing well!!.......Kaidan strikes me as a man that really likes to take his time and savour every moment...no quickies for him!!!

Pick the right option on your dialogue wheel a few times, then get a room, stand their fully clothed, start crying,...and hurry before everything goes black and you'll end up with...nothing and perhaps a polaroid of a dramatic close up of your empty bed.
Because that's how it's supposed to be according to Bioware

I have read pretty much all this thread, so I tried to put in all the scenes you guys loved. I had to cut out a lot as well though, I had over an hour worth of Kaidan video's, but only 8 minutes of music.

Make sure you set the video to: "720p" (you can do that in the actual video interface)
and set it to HD (the button with the two arrows)
If you can't play HD, you need: Flash player 10.  http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/ wich is free.

I noticed that Youtube has made it darker for some reason, I guess that's due to quality loss in the upload.
I will upload it again, but in a different format to counteract this later this week

You don't need to change the format to lighten the video. You should be able to brighten the clips in your video editor and then republish the video. I usually brighten 2x if I don't have my gamma up higher when I capture.

It was very sleazetastic and jarring. The first time I watched it, i got grossed out. The second time, I laughed.

At least you could watch it...I tried to on youtube and got part way through the flirting and then cringed at what I was hearing...needless to say I only watched about a third of it before I shut it down. I just can't stand seeing my Shep(or any Shep) act like a s-l-u-t.

Going back to people interpreting the e-mail as Kaidan having moved on...how could he? Just think of how often you hear stuff about yourself as you wander around places.



Imagine, in 2185, Kaidan is on the Citadel. Anderson's got a new assignment for him, so he's making his way to the Presidium from the Wards. He walks past Flux, where Shep made him dance with her, stops for a moment at the scenic view where he inadvertently revealed his attraction to her. A lot has changed on the Citadel, but that at least is still a favourite spot for couples, old and new.



Someone comes up to him and tries to sell him a Shepard VI. He cringes and speeds up to get away as soon as he can.



She's been dead for two years, but in the elevator to the Presidium, the news reports are all about what they accomplished together: Eden Prime, Zhu's Hope...He already knows about the [pick one:] Shepard scholarship/Mindoir colonial seal/issues with the Memorial Flame on Torfan.



She's everywhere in the Embassy, on all of the proudly displayed Alliance military recruitment posters. Finally, there's Anderson, still in the same office. Everything about that first "shakedown run" on the Normandy rushes right back. He's briefed on the mission and afterwards, he feels overwhelmingly relieved.



He can't get much further away from Shepard than Horizon.

Mobar your vid was fantastic. I thought that the first part where the action was taking place was wonderful. I got to watching it and when you zoomed in on the rescue Kaidan part I was shouting "Way to go!" but the ending...Mobar it was wonderful...great way to advertise for Kaidan support and I was just expecting a regular vid. Great job.

Great vid!  Music was great and  I liked your inclusion of the subtitles.  And of course the ending message....YES!
