Things that would make me flip out for ME3:

4.  Kaidan really did get abducted by the collectors and got liquified.  The man you talked to was a clone designed to infiltrate the Alliance.  That's how he got out of his paralysis and why he wouldn't come with you.  (Seriously,  I might kill a man for this one)

Is he still functional? Fake Kaidan is better than no Kaidan...actually Chem this sounds like one  of my old fanfics. Yes I write a lot of weird stuff.

Zuh?  Where was this?  On ff? I like weird stuff.  We're talking I make a habit out of reading books like Dies the Fire and Monster Hunter International.

In the brief period covered by your story you manage to cover a lot of ground, the plot twists are surprising as well, a good surprise that is. Could have seen the last one coming but it totally blindsighted me.

The structure is refreshing as well, all in all a pleasant read.

I'd like to see that myself but with Bioware making Shepard strong(and at times obnoxious in ME2) I don't see it happening. Of course I could be wrong...the Paragon route could lead there. She did almost look like she would cry in the Horizon scene. I wouldn't think a renegade would cry though.

Thanks...that type of story is more my style even though I occasionally do the straight romance fluff stuff (which I find a lot harder to do).

I always enjoy Michelle's fics.    I'm a big fan of short fiction, so one of the things I've always enjoyed about well written fanfiction is when writers can create a compelling story in one chapter, and give us a beginning, middle and end within that small space.  Michelle does this very well.

Of course, longer fics are great too, but I usually wait till the story is complete before checking it out nowadays, it's always sad when you start reading a 20 chapter fanfic, and then you realize that the story hasn't been updated since 2008 and it will probably never be finished.   That said, I'm REALLY glad I checked out fortunesque's ongoing story...it is definitely worth the wait, and each chapter is great on its own.

Personally, I haven't written fan fiction since...well, just to give you an idea how long ago it was, I was a very active participant on the Bronze message board back in the early seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.  Back then, writing a Buffy/Spike fic was ker-azzy!!!    I've been thinking about getting back into it for Mass Effect, since all we Kaidan fans have right now is our imagination...

Indeed, some excellent fanfic writers in here. Oddly enough I like reading fanfic about Kaidan but never want to have a go at it myself. Feels as if it loses some of its charm if it's written by my hand. Hard to explain really, Kaidan is someone elses character and that's how I like it. Even though different writers take this character and write their own stories, it stays the same for me as long as he's still Kaidan.

Well the fact I just read firing the big gun in ME2 gave some a hard on...yeah...that pretty much confirms it. Just like this thread does. Wonder why mods allow such posts.

I actually go into the Tali thread once every few days, just reading the last page to see what they are talking about since that thread seems to be flying. This time I wanted to grab the popcorn because it was like a soap in there.

Don't mind it though, that's their thing and I'm sure there are some genuine character fans in there too. Besides, it makes this thread seem...sophisticated. Despite us going all crazy at times, it can never compare lol Permission to post more nekkid Kaidan :innocent:

You do realize that they're just kidding around? You really believe nonsense about hard ons? A passive viewer of this thread might think the same of you ladies getting all wet over Kaiden.
