Re: creepy people on the internet. Sad to say, there are many creepy people on the internet. It's just what happens. Sometimes they gather where you'd rather they not gather. The best that you can do is try to keep some semblance of order in your own "home" so to speak, and have fun with the non-crazies. This thread could have some weird come into it at any time, too, and we wouldn't be able to do that much about it. I have a lot of sympathy for those eloquent and smart people who have to deal with stupidity.

I would really like to see us stick with what works: enjoying ourselves, hanging out, having wacky discussions. I'd like to throw out there that if people really feel the need to discuss overmuch what's going on in other threads that this thread isn't the one to do it in. There are better places for some of those discussions.

Another thought; eventually, we're going to have to move to a new thread (preferably one with a correctly spelled name). Would anyone be up for helping compile a list of resources, fanart, and other goodies to put on the first post when we end up doing this again? We could include the videos, fanart, fav fanfic, websites, stuff like that. I can help put some of it together into a coherant form to post, but I could use some help getting all the stuff together. Anyone with me?

Some of the stuff is in the group KealaFerret...most of the stuff is stickied at the top so it's easy to find. Fanfic and Video threads are there. And you can use any of the photos in the photos section....we've got so many now that we are running out of space. I think there is a fanart thread...probably need to make a directory thread for all the art stuff and let the literal threads 'float' since the whole first page can't be taken up with stickies but I'll try to go find that one too and sticky it as well for now in case you want to use it.

To the design world Papyrus is, to put it simply, the n00b font. Everyone and their brother uses it because it looks different and special compared to the other common Windows standard fonts. And thus when it is used in a serious manner, such as for movie titles, it implies that the person behind the design is too lazy or ignorant to find a more respectable font. If Papryus kept to minor things like community flyers and sig banners, it would not be such a hated font. But people have abused the use of Papyrus to the point that many people, esp those who have some knowledge of fonts, see it and cringe.

Wait.  Where can I find his clips?  I listened to Kimberly Brooks' demo reel.  It's really good.  But I haven't heard Raphael.  Also, he's credited as "additional voices" as well as Kaidan for ME2 and I personally can't think of any way he could ever satisfactorily hide that voice in some other character.

There is a distinct difference between Carth's voice and Kaidans too, sure you can hear it's the same guy, but Kaidan is more careful in his speach, more gentle and it shows. Even the rythm and tone use is different.

Sbarge is a talented voice actor.

Space thread wise, or space, stuff wise? As in, is this the kind of space problem I can fix by setting up a few prolific people with some space on the internet?

Running out of space in the sense that Bioware only allows so much space for each group. Photos can be deleted so when more space is needed some of the redundant photos can be removed to make room for more(like those to be uploaded for ME3). It's not an immediate problem but I would bet that it will be maxed out before ME3's release date. And for everybody reading this...don't be afraid of uploading your photos...especially if they are some we don't have...if we hit the limit we can always remove some of the less popular shots.

It's the "renegade" response when he first comes in pre-Ilos to say that it's been a pleasure serving under Shepard. 

"Kaidan, I don't think you've had the pleasure of serving under me yet.  Don't you think it's time to rectify that?"

  I LOVE the way Jennifer Hale says that line.  I think she's a Kaidan fan too.
