Perish the thought...or perhaps you hit the nail on the head...if EA is trying to save money...With all the big name actors they got to do voice overs they may have had to cut somewhere.

Seriously, just like the Phoenix armor in the beginning, it would have cost them five minutes at most to change the texture on Kaidan's armor in the opening scene. 

And then they don't address the fact that he's a tech expert at all on Horizon, he doesn't use his biotics, he can't stay more than five minutes and hear Shepard's explanation...and Shepard is suddenly completely unable to express herself.

...Horizon is a horrible, horrible planet. 

Feels like the ME LI's were just afterthought.

Having said that, I haven't counted or anything but I bet we prob get nearly as much dialogue in that short scene as the new LI get in total, there just isn't a loyalty quest or a roll in the hay, if you include the e-mail we prob get more content!

If you take away all the the cheesy flirty dialog from the new LI's you don't have much left at all...so much for deeper character development.

I told him that on one of my renegade play throughs and he went crazy...killed everything in sight...I hardly had to fire a shot...I don't know if it was a glitch or the way I was playing him or what but I just sat there with my mouth hanging open.

Haha, this article makes Kaidan or Ashley look smart in comparison to your ME1 teammates who joined Cerberus.  There are some really good points here, I hope the writers for ME3 look at it objectively.

You know....I think I just figured out what that bump in Kaidan's hair is at the back of his head. Since they do the copy and paste thing for Ash and Kaidan, his hair has to be big enough to cover hers. It's Ash's bun! It is, it is!

Re Horizon - I totally blame Lilith for Kaidans biotic power failure - she took so long to get moving, then had to do the "oops I fell over routine" to get Kaidan to hold her hand while helping her up, by the time he'd done this the swarm had him - I'm glad she got podded & I got to see her luiqify, lol.



Re Article : so true, althoough the lyalty quest get to be a chore after a while. (Why is it that no-one will talk to shep & suddenly they all come out of the woodwork to give you their loyalty quests at once - would be nice if they were a bit more staggered)

Dozing off while running around the Citadel and I keep clicking on him to hear his voice. I love how he goes "hmm" whenever HE wants to be clicked, makes me chuckle each time.

I've been replaying ME1 as well and had a really hard time getting through the Citadel and some of the side quest planets- I've played it a lot too so some of it is pretty dull even with the lure of Kaidentime.   When I've gotten bored I've reminded myself that it could be worse...I could be scanning planets!   

As much as I love Kaiden (and will perservere on the ME1 playthrough) I found myself going back into DragonAge just for the PC/NPC interactions.   I admit though, while I do enjoy Alistair, he's not Kaiden. *sigh*

I was playing a bit of my renegade Shep last night in ME1, and I wasn't directly harsh with Kaidan, but I really went after Ashley. Ashley even commented on an elevator ride that she didn't think I liked her. LOL

I tried, but just can't do it. While firey Kaidan is hot, Renegade Kaidan is not. Besides, if Shepard can be a bad-ass, firey Paragon, so can Kaidan.

I don't normally play it like this but now that I've found out you can obviously I have to try, but it's really hard!
