I wouldn't read too much into that part of the e-mail anyway, he mentioned Eden Prime and only Jenkins and Nihlus died there and Jenkins was a raw recuit so how close could he have been to him?  Especially as the doc described him as keeping to himself. 

Don't forget Virmire..just because he and Ash were close friends doesn't mean they were into each other...although I bet she would have went for him if scuttlebutt hadn't said he was sweet on someone else...but wouldn't we all.

Well keep in mind that Kaiden had intel that Shepard was alive before he even got to Horizon. I'm sure that uncertainty alone would have put any thought of Lilith as a romantic interest out of his mind.

That deserves a re-quote! lol <3  Does it bother anyone else that you get to call Kaidan by his first name but he always calls you Shepard or Commander in ME1. Sure I get the obvious technical why, but talking to Thane who calls you Siha gives me the idea I'd LOVE if Kaidan found a pet name for Shepard.

I don't know if I would want him to give a pet name. As long as it isn't associated to someone he knew or something not... well as romantic as it sounded in his head. Spirt monk comes to mind.

I've heard rumors of maybe getting a little info at E3 this year but nothing definate.  It is in production already, that's confirmed.

I really hope they don't leave us out of the loop again until the very last minute when it comes to which previous party members are returning as squadmates.  I don't want to get my hopes up for the next two years for nothing.

This has to be added!  It was one of the things I really liked in DA.  Kissing in town, kissing in the woods, kissing and extra special time in the camp and the others making comments.  Yes I do hope they add this in ME3.

Yeah No one's like getting their bubbles busted. If he does become a squadmate i am looking forward to the journey of rebuilding that trust and love. Clearly one of them has to say "let's make up for time lost." ughhh i wants it.

If there's not random kissing in ME3 with Kaidan, I'm going to be angry. I loved being able to kiss Alistair in DA:O, and the fact that party members would comment. I want that so badly....



I really hope he'll be a squadmate, I have really high hopes that he will be, but I really don't want to get too enthusiastic and have those crushed. But it wouldn't be hard for Bioware to implement the Ashley/Kaidan dynamic. But if they do that, I hope it doesn't just feel like same person, different voice. That would be annoying...



sigh... I need info NOW.

Hmm...okay...um...hmm.

I think it's the old boy gets girl, boy loses girl, boy wins girl back concept....in this case Shepard wins Kaidan, loses him, and then wins him back. They did say that something along the lines of it being like the last Indiana Jones movie...and I can't remember for the life of me the reconciliation romance in that...they just said they would do it better than Indiana Jones. 

All the thanks goes to Fortunesque for the info...she did the digging...I just reposted it.

In the last Indy movie (the 4th one), Indy  finds out that she was pregnant before they broke up so they now have a young adult son..... The movie ends with Indy and Marion getting married.  SO....if the intent for ME3 is along the lines of the last Indiana Jones movie then it seems likely that we'll get the ending with Kaiden we're hoping for.  *crosses fingers*

At Star58.  OH DEAR GOD!  NO!  Shep/Kaidan's story can never be the travesty that was the end result of Indy and Marion.  Come on now.  No babies!  Only the steamy biotic sexy times!  (at least for a few years)
