Text on start up screen says one month, Joker makes a comment,

'That's why I dont date crew' implying that they were dating rather than just one night.

Rest is interpretation, how long they had to build their relationsgip depends on how long you think the 1st game spanned over, they were flirting and stuff from the get go, I figure min 6mths would have passed through events in ME1 up to a year?  So I recon about a year all in.

Didn't a dev or somebody say that it had been 2 months from Saran until the ship went down back when they were still doing the spoilers.

If it's Kaidan's abs I'm okay with that, but I still think the ME scenes were more tasteful than the ME2 ones even with the nudity.

A question if you please: How do you fix it in your sig to say like "Kaidan Alenko Appreciation Society" and have it link to the group rather than have the url displaying...I can't figure out how to do it in the edit forum settings section.

later on it says something about Shepard chasing Geth so it is possible that one month later she went out there and one month after that the ship goes down but doesn't give any times other than that.

At least it's enough time for them to establish a deeper relationship...and when he told her that he loved her that helped too to show it was more serious that just a one night stand.(at least on his part)...I guess it's up to us to decide whether our Femsheps viewed it the same way or not.

God I love that part, damn it I'll need to start another playthrough, it's hard enough trying to playthrough and try the other romance options but you ladies make it impossible!  I'm never gonna manage a Liara romance now!

And for some reason, all my dudesheps end up single. I feel like I'm preying on Liara if I go after her. Don't get me wrong... I like Ash (second favorite squaddie), but I just love Kaidan that much more.

Okay so I clicked on that sig of yours and it gets funnier after each time you watch it..

But yeah the other love scenes don't have anything on partially naked Kaidan. Always bugged me you're staring at him fully dressed already, would have been more natural if Shep would have been wrapped in a blanket beside him, or just show her neck up or something..

Haha, I know how you feel, I've been thinking about getting a level 60 save from http://www.masseffectsaves.com that has a Liara romance, and if I don't like any of the choices or name of the character, using Gibbed's save editor to fix it up.  That's probably a lot of work just to have a Liara romance character, but I think her story line in ME3 will be really interesting.

It really does, I love/hate it. 

Yeah, the blanket thing woulda been cool, but it would have looked a little out of place given the surroundings.  They should have still been laying there, IMO, and have Joker page again.  We know he's a pro at interrupts.

Well as awesome as Kaiden is ... and as tempting as it was to want to have another go, I'm sure the two of them had a lot of on their minds at that point in time. Shepard's all about duty. I think it would have been out of character for her to be anywhere else than ready to go. She's ready but she's still sitting there, watching him. Its like she wants to save that picture of him forever.

Same with the beginning of the game. Her last words to Kaiden are basically .. get the **** on that pod now!  No time to tell him that she loves him or anything else. And honestly, it would have been out of character for her to say anything else.

The romance has always had to come second for the both of them.

Why would she get their hopes up? Also, they would make a pull to get the body, and you can bet that they wouldn't work to rebuild it like Cerberus did. The Council and Alliance would give the remains a proper burial and memorial.

So Liara probably didn't tell anyone because she wanted Shepard back that much and didn't want Kaidan to get his hopes up that Shepard would be alive again.

Yeah -- I thought about the aspect of not raising false hopes and of their concerns re Cerberus.  I realize that there are any number of rationalizations she could make about why it was in everyone's best interests not to tell them about what she'd done but I still have to wonder about it.  Don't get me wrong -- I like Liara and used her a lot in my teams, but it seems kinda self-serving to me athough one could certainly argue that she trying to be kind.  Taking an action or withholding for someone else's "own good" is fairly common rationalization that has a pretty high rate of backfire.....  Kaiden and Ash are grown ups and capable of making their own decisions. 

*grins* Also,I get paid in RL to wonder about these kinds of things, so that's why it raised a flag for me.    Anyway, I thought it interesting and mildly curious.

Serious question I don't mean this as a flame/troll thing, but I was wondering if Kaidan fans are/were drawn to Carth Onassi in KOTOR.? Wondering if it was a VA thing?
