I think it depends on which dialogue options you pick, I got it on one of my Kaidan playthroughs (I reloaded a few times for that one scene.. lol) and didn't in others.

I thought his me2 armor looked pretty cool. I'm a little iffy on the lights on the shoulders but they weren't that distracting.

I watch Supernatural so I'm down with how bromances get angsty, but did you feel it was a bit much?

My Femshep stayed faithful to Kaidan. I think I died a little when he walked away on Horizon, but the email and Shep mooning over his picture kept the faith alive.



I do agree with everyone else in regards to not being able to greet Kaidan on Horizon in a way other than generic. But I was happy he stood his ground, proving he is not a pushover.



I am now hoping ME3 really delivers for us 'Faithfuls', after all, ME2 delivered for the Garrus/Tali lovers.

Kaidan and Shepard meet up on Horizon. I'm sure there are many things he had wished he could have done. Kiss her madly, drag her back to the alliance and talk some sense into her head, not let go from that embrace. Sure he felt confused and angry but well... atleast they hugged. Right? Right?

Not a romance for me, but a good guy. And I always virmired Ashley, just liked Kaidan more. Calm, collected, voice of reason.



Wasn't too pleased he wouldn't give me the benefit of the doubt on Horizon, and if you aren't in a romane, you get no email, but eh, Cerberus is evil so I don't blame him /too/ much.

The pink armor was a bit much, but Kaidan can pull it off

The guy? What about Shepard - SHE DIED! And she has to wait for ME3!


Seriously it would be so wrong if Bioware has them reunite early in ME3 and there isn't some serious make up sex.

I will book a flight to Edmonton and yell at the writers in person if this does not happen.

I'm a fan of him! Just wanted to chime in. I thought he was more interesting than Ash, that's why I let him live.

I hope he is in ME3, I'd love that.

At the very least a make-up email would be nice for those of us who could not pick a romance relationship with him. My male Shepard brought Kaiden along on the whole ME1 questline. They were tight. Then Kaiden just flips him off without listening to all the facts? And no word after? Ouch. That was cold.

Bioware intentionally made both Ashley and Kaidan repulsed that you're working with Cerberus. They intend to have them survive to ME3. If they were squad mates in ME2, they could die. So you need a reason why they wouldn't work with Shepard. That reason in particular? Shepard is working with Cerberus. If they were indifferent about Cerberus and didn't really care, it wouldn't make as much sense that they don't want to join. Kaidan is a pretty "aliens are just like everyone else" kind of guy, and Ashley doesn't like being called a racist. AND Cerberus doesn't exactly have the reputation of being the nicest people. If you're a sole survivor and still working with Cerberus, that could make even less sense to Kaidan and Ashley, like Shepard has changed and is drifting away from the person she/he once was.
