... but only if they tweak the cuddling animations. The couch/bed cuddling just strikes me as a little sweet/but mostly odd with the repetitive movements as they are currently. O_o

I so agree, I definitely want something like it but not quite at WTFisgoingon?  It was a good first try, but with Kaidan involved, it best be better!

What they -really- need to do is keep the whole Intercom idea, but make it so that calling your LI up to your quarters leads to better animated cuddling AND an option to watch the (hopefully put back in) love scenes again. Not the text leading up to it, as that would be weird post-game, but the stuff like the kiss/crawling on the bed scenes from ME1. Something similar could be thrown in at any place, once you've hooked up with your LI, without being odd. And really, why is it SO hard for Bioware to let us watch this stuff multiple times (Dragon Age, I'm looking at you!)? It just needs to be a trigger in the code to make that cutscene come up again. I would think that'd be simple.

I remember playing ME 1 and just blown away by how attatched I'd become with Alenko and Garrus. Specially Kaiden since he was my L.I. He always had some sort of hold over me (Minus that rediculous hair cut...) and I always pestered him about learning something new with his history. Just before Ilum, he pours his heart out for you and it was just moving.



Then ME 2 comes along, and I run into Garrus first. My FemShep's reaction was priceless. I love that shocking, but happy face she gets. Then Horizon...and as soon as TIM mentioned Kaiden, I was going all fangirl at the possible thought of a reunion. But of course, I was torn as he raged at the fact that I was with Cerberus and didn't let him know I was alive. I get back to the ship, read the email and *Facepalm*



He was beyond ticked.

He was convinced to have a couple of drinks with a doctor.

He didn't give me a chance to explain why I was with Cerberus.

He didn't join me to fight the good fight.



Kudos to Bioware for tugging at my emotions. I couldn't stay faithful after all that and immediately went after Garrus...Even if it made me feel beyond guilty.



But that's ok. My 2nd playthrough will be nothing but faithful.

Hope Kaidan's "dual role" with Ash is written so in ME3 that both get plenty of personal material. I am fairly sure their stories will be built on the same framework, but at least possible personal quests and interactions with Shepard should be kept different for both,

Here's hoping he makes a triumphant return. I like competence and cool, level headed people in my squad.

Yeah, a return to level-headed people would be nice. For awhile, it seemed like everyone I was picking up on ME2 was rather crazy and/or unbalanced. Think Joker even made a comment about it at some point. xD

ME1's cast was definitely a little more mellow than ME2's. ME2's was a bit much at times, but ME1 could be underwhelming too. I liked Kaidan and Wrex, but Ashley and Liara just annoyed me most of the time.

I was actually glad to see that Liara had grown up in her two years away from Shepard. She drove me crazy (and not in the good way) in the first game.

Back to Kaiden, though... I'm so looking forward to that reunion in ME3. I sincerely hope that there's some sort of option to tell him (mostly teasingly) that he was a bit of a jerk back on Horizon. xD Yelling at FemShep for not telling him she was alive. Hello, she was dead for most of those two years! Shoot, the very first thing my FemShep did was run to the Presidium to talk to Anderson to try and find out where Kaiden was. Stupid top-secret mission.

I hope the Kaidan fans get what they want. As a Tali fan, ME2 was awesome. I always play a Male Shep, so Kaidan always dies in any ME1 play through I do.
