Completely agree with this, and the prudes who keep going on and on about no need for side boobs and quips about masturbation are pissing me off. Wonder how old these people are. <_<

Heh, I was unspoiled as to what to expect from Kaidan when I played through ME2 the first time. I literally played the Horizon quest about thirty minutes before going out of town for the weekend with my boyfriend. I was yelling at my computer/Kaidan the entire time during that conversation, and then I went and was all upset. Then my poor boyfriend got stuck in a car with me for four hours as I was all emo over that conversation.

My husband and I had an understanding that he wouldn't be able to play until I finished the game. That was the one exception. I hadn't stopped playing since I had started, and then Horizon happened and I just had to turn it off and stare at a wall for an hour so I could process it all.

I love the look he gives Shepard before the hug. It says so much. Even though he had heard the rumors, he has to see her to believe she's really back. I would be okay with Kaidan DLC where he looks at Shepard longingly after the main mission is over. Of course, more would be nice too.



And, comparing the first game's sex scenes with the second, it definitely feels like ME1's scene were way more mature and tasteful, despite the sideboob and behind. ME2's love scenes were kind of cheesy, at least in the ones where they showed more than a kiss or forehead bump. Even Jack's paragon love scene had a touch of creepy, with the crying. You guys got it right the first time, stop messing with it!

Seriously, BioWare, I don't get my Kaidan back, there's going to be problems...BIG RENEGADE PROBLEMS!  I want him on my ship, his L2 Amp back on my squad, and at some point in my bed.  

Otherwise I'm going to be developing some facial scarring and glowing red eyes...

It's almost like they had to make up for the lack of nudity by going overboard on the cheesy and embarrassing dialog.  Kaidan's love scene was the best of them all.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who was depressed after the encounter on Horizon. I couldn't believe I was moping around about a computer game. LOL

What I dearly love about BioWare RPGs is that they have as much emotional impact for me as a really good book does. I'm a huge bookworm and I never imagined that any other form of storytelling could be as potent for me. While I still love books, I have to admit that the RPGs are gaining more and more appeal because they feel like interactive books (and not in a cheesy, Choose Your Own Adventure kind of way).

As for the love scenes, I didn't see any of the ME2 ones because I remained faithful. However, I liked the ME1 love scene FAR better than the love scene in DA:O. The DA:O one was weird and cheesy, in my opinion. I neither need nor want explicit nudity, but the bad underwear in DA:O was a real mood killer for me.

[Edit] Okay, so I did suggest once to Garrus that we work off our stress together because I was just dying to know what would happen.  Shep's lines thereafter were so cheesy that I was embarrassed for her.  It sounded like she got her sexy talk inspirations from bad pr0n vids or something.

I mentioned this in the Miranda thread, but I think it would be neat if when Shepard leans in to kiss a biotic squadmate (like Kaidan), he/she gets a static shock.

I saw the side boob thread...but masturbation...didn't know things had gone that far. I know a dev came in on the other forum one time and said something to the Tali crowd... that they sounded like they'd rape her if they could and that they were creeping him/her out(or that's how I remember it). Haven't seen a lot of devs lately.

Been attempting to write but the scenes in my head are so super awesome that i can't put them on paper. Drawn or written. It makes me a sad Winde.



Anywho... I hope we get to see him from the get go. Since I have a feeling me3 is going to have a big 'ol "united we can do this!" he has to be the alliance rep. -has-to-be- T_T!

I do hope they let us know they're paying attention to the "support threads", even if they can't be bothered with the rabid fangirl/boying that goes on in them.  Just to let us know that they see that there are devoted fans of characters whose names don't start with "T" and end with "ali"...

I've been coming up blank for fanfic ideas after the last one I did...I think I'm still dealing with trauma of Horizon.

That's the hope. I think the Tali group is the only one that has multiple threads...doesn't mean there are more of them though...
