You know how they had the battlemage join you and Alistair to help you take the tower back at the beginning of DAO? Kind of like that.

It'd be cool if they could have Liarashidan join as a member of Shepard's squad temporarily in some dlc that occurs after the suicide mission.

After the suicide mission DLC to get us ready for ME3? That would be great! That way we don't have to spend the majority of ME3 trying to regain Kaidan's trust and work on the relationship all over again. With some DLC he could see Shepard is still Shepard, and it would take less time to gain his trust in ME3 which leaves more time for them to spiral down the deeper levels of their relationship. I really don't want to see the 'Shepard I still love you' dialogue at the END of ME3, somewhere in the middle will work

I like the idea of more mails; that would be extremely easy to implement.
Agreed! It would be great if we could reply, and choose the tone of the email. I would love some shipmate conversations about Shepard's feelings for Kaidan and his emails, too! But maybe I'm too demanding...

We're easy. (no, not in that way, although the writers sure make it seem so in ME2
Just a bit of text and queue Kelly's standard new message notification and there you have it, happy Shepard.

-the stupid grin that crosses my face every time I see a Kaidan pic, even more so if it's a shirtless one
-the repeated replaying of all talks with Kadian
-taking my Shep back up to her cabin to stare longingly at his pic whilst re-reading his e-mail
-the complete inability to avoid innuendos Kaidan related
-it wasn't even the sitting playing ME on my x-box yesterday with my laptop by my side so I could check on these threads and play simulaniously
-the fact that I spent more time on this threads than on the game still didn't tip me off
-it wasn't even the fact that I hadn't done any work at all this weekend or prepared any lessons
The point when I realised I was truely addicted was this morning when I was trying to dry my hair and read this thread on my i-phone, finally throwing the phone across the room in disgust as I realised I would have to wait until later to post!
My name is BECC4 and I am a Kaidanoholic
Edit: On a related note, more e-mails, DLC with Kaidan would rock (if somewhat unlikely) but I so wanted to send him a message, not even necessarily an I love you but an I miss you might be nice

Haha. It's okay. It's almost 5am est. and I have a lot of graphic design homework to do all day tomorrow. Also, I decided to pull out a bit of rum to finish my ultimate transfer file.

Haha! No booze for me, I might actually lose my job! I did however just realise I'm teaching in 25mins and have nothing prepared S***!

Haha, this is what I should have done, I just went straight to the photo and email and ignored my poor fish.
I had the same reaction at the end of the game, the final mission is pretty cool and epic, but at the end I was thinking...okay, time to wait impatiently for ME3 so I can have the REAL reunion with Kaidan.

I thought that Jacob's Mass Effect Galaxy look (bald head, high cheekbones) would have been better than what they came up with, but he still wouldn't have been as cute or as well written as Kaidan.
I think the devs subconsciously wanted us to stick with Kaidan, by making the only human female LI cheesy and offputting when Shepard talks to him. Jennifer Hale was in on it too, that's why Shepard sounds so sleazy when she visits Jacob...yeah...
I doubt Jennifer Hale had much to do with it. It's down to the directors. It's a line that seriously needs to be patched. There is so much wrong with the line. It's fine if you're going down that romance thread but the first time you talk with the guy? The first time you talk with the guy while your character still has a LI from the first game?
GRRR,,,,
Yeah, when Shepard first leaned against the dang table or whatever it was and said that. I was furious, I didn't talk to Jacob until well after Horizon, I almost just didn't do his loyalty mission because I was so angry. She sounds absolutely ridiculous. I have no idea who was behind that but they made a poor decision, if it was to make us stick with Kaidan, I guess that was a job well done, but I seriously doubt that was the reason. It seemed like the devs were trying to force Jacob on the player, which made the romance all the more off putting, not to mention, I wasn't a big fan of the guy ANYWAY.
This thread might shed some light on that...it's about the same sex romance thing but it kinda says they are going for a pre-defined (pre-determined) character with Shep...sounds like they are taking a lot of the role playing out of it in my opinion.
