Heh, I tried to take only people that I would not mind being present in Captain Anderson's office whenever I went to the Citadel. Regardless of the story, my Shep still felt very loyal to the Alliance, and she wants to prove to those who may have some lingering doubts on whether she's been corrupted by Cerberus (which mine had not been).

Just finished the Thane romance on a neutral Shepard and it only made me appreciate Kaidan even more. Can't put my finger on it, but I can't seem to like the ME2 romances at all. In ME1 it just seemed more natural and the love scene at the end was beautifully done. Wth happened in ME2?

Well that's it for me, all my Sheps will stay loyal now because there's little to go on for femsheps in ME2. Male players sure are lucky :/

Yeah count me in for the Kaidan love fan club! He's adorable but tough enough to deal with the Shep. Unfortunately for both either of them aren't all that great at expression their feeeeelings.. Hope that gets remedied in ME3 *cough*.

My Shepard isn't staying 'loyal' she's totally swooning for Thane right now, however I have a save just before I start talking to Thane that I won't touch until I see what happens in ME3, if the Thane dalliance screws up my return to Kaidan I'll reload from there....

I'm interpreting 'going for drinks with a doctor, it's nothing serious' as dating, so my Shep kinda feels entitled to some revenge romance. I'm hoping the repercussions are only for people who declare their love for their new flame and have Kaidan's photo turned down...

And yes in ME3, can Kaidan get a hair cut? That Elvis do is just.....ewww.

Also Anderson needs a smack!! He refused to give info to Kaidan about Shep other then to say he needs to investigate himself, and refused to say ANYTHING to Shepard about where Kaidan was, so he could have Alenko spy on her.. If you go back to the citadel and confront Anderson, Shep expresses she isn't impressed at all. I hope Kaidan gets to hear about all that some day!

Sounds like you're playing the same way I am...no way I want any of the ME2 LI's even flirting with my Femshep...she's all business...get the mission done and tell Cerberus to take a hike and yes...reunite with Kaidan again.

Yeah. I really hope that there's a big, flashy romance sequence in ME3 for everyone who stayed loyal. It just bothers me to no end that the ME1 LI's were such a let down in ME2. There was just no closure. Here's hoping that one of the DLC packs will include at least one more email from your ME1 LI.



On another note, the picture on Anderson's desk has me worried. I really hope that doesn't foreshadow something. >< Or maybe Anderson is Kaidan's father and he lied about the whole retiring in Vancouver thing. A very long shot, but more palpable than the alternative.

I really think the picture of his desk was either really lazy editting or a mistake on Bioware's part. Or they're together. Which means I have my work cut out for me.... Captain Anderson doesn't secretly have a phD does he?

A few posts back someone posted that the same picture is there if Kaidan died on Virmire. It's either a blunder or a joke. I wouldn't worry.

No, Jacob does not even deserve to be called a Kaidan-clone wannabe.  I just honestly didn't like the guy.  I was obviously biased towards Kaidan from the beginning, but Jacob... ohmygoodness...  I really didn't like the guy.  I didn't mind Thane, I could see myself romancing on a completely new playthrough where Kaidan was never really an option, but I could never not romance Kaidan when given the option.  Ever.

More than likely...but still...there was so little closure with the Alenko romance that I can't help but speculate.

I honestly hated Kaiden. He was the msot blandest character in a video game, I couldnt wait for him to die ever since the first time I met him in ME1.

I didn't romance Kaidan, but he totally needs to be a squad mate in ME3. Ashley or him, whomever survived ME1.



I support Kaidan/Ashley as ME3 squad mates 110%!

Haha, like I said earlier, I think it's a simple mistake.  There is a second picture frame in the captain's quarters of the Normandy that doesn't "activate" when you approach it, and it is the same size as the frame on Anderson's desk.  I think the Kaidan pic animation was mistakenly associated with the frame on Anderson's desk...again, it doesn't "fit" correctly and just looks wrong.
