I was so happy we got to get drunk with Dr. Chakwas! My Shep couldn't stop bothering her in ME1, constantly asking her about Lieutenant Alenko, so it didn't take the good Doctor long to figure out that Shep's interest went a little beyond the professional. Since Joker wouldn't talk about Kaidan at all until after Horizon, Chakwas was the only person Shep could harangue for information on his whereabouts (it seems like Kaidan is closer to her than probably most of the crew, no doubt because of the migraines). I like to think she shared her own similar ~love story~ with Shep over that bottle of whiskey.

Hmmmm another great point, which kinda now makes me wonder Kaidan was so adamant about NOT trusting Shepard's actions. (Other then the technical gameplay reasons) Must have been shock mostly on a few levels, seeing that she really was alive, working with Cerberus, Joker and Garrus along for the ride....

Someone mentioned wanting a DLC where we could play as Kaidan and find out what else he's been up to? Thought I saw that. Would freaking love that! I'd settle for a comic too.

Perhaps Kaidan blames Conatix more for Baat than the Alliance...Conatix sounds a little like Cerberus in the way it operated...like with the rumors about them being responsible for "accidental" eezo exposures. Even though thoughts about what happened to Toombs and Kohaku might be on the surface, I would think that under the surface he might equate what Cerberus did to them with his own experience at Jump Zero. I mean in a way they were all pretty much guinea pigs.

Good point, and let's face it, Shep's very own run-ins with Cerberus all resulted in evil twisted finds. He's got legitimate reasons to be rather angry.

If you were working together with somebody while fighting a terrorist organisation you'd be pretty surpised yourself if this person suddenly just jumps out of the grass after two years; "...oh yeah, I'm with Cerberus now." Especially if you were in love with eachother.

That and the writers in ME2 were told to come up with a time saving solution.

Poor doctor Chakwas, anybody ever wonder what her actual role is at all?

Appart from 1 set of conversation options she never refreshes both in ME1 and ME2, and one unique conversation (woke up after Eden-prime and the Ice brandy scene)

She doesn't do much else the entirety of both games. I hope she gets more spotlight in ME3, seems like a loyal friend.

Basically.  I was, admittedly, upset at first when I saw the Horizon scene, but then I realized that it would be pretty hypocritical of me to be mad at Kaidan when *I* have no idea why Shepard didn't go back to the Alliance and try to get their help instead of following Cerberus like a dummy.  Because my Shepard would have to be pretty darned dumb to trust Cerberus, at all.  Ever.

Also, I gave TIM the finger at the end for the same reason I rescued the Council at the end of ME1; if we all survive the Reapers, we still have to live in this galaxy, and giving Cerberus that sort of power is a *horrible* idea for the future.  So yeah, I wish I could have followed Kaidan back to the Alliance at the end of the Horizon scene.

Personally I under estimated ME1 for the longest time, becouse of the cover.

Picked it up from a store shelve, saw this super cliché typical dark haired, square jawed grimey looking protagonist and just placed it back on the shelve. I didn't think it could possibly contain any depth.
and Jennifer Hale is more convincing then Mark Meer to my opinion

Edit: Oh yeah, and if only ME2 had epic music like that! Or like ME1 for that matter.

Does anybody know what the classical music is from? If that's from the actual trailer then it couldn't be more creative with the truth.

The music is Two Steps from Hell.  They're kind of like Immediate Music.  Hopefully they too will release a CD like Trailerhead.  Personally, sometimes my fat lazy but needs some epic music to go workout.  Especially if I spend hours a day on my butt playing Mass Effect so I can see my Kai Kai.

HA! A million times YES! This needs to get the attention of BioWare because for years I had no clue you could play as either gender you want, let alone the existance of a character creator, had I realized this sooner I would have bought it right away. But no I just thought it was another shooter, until I saw youtube videos of people making fun of FOX News for being retards about the massive sex.... I was like, hold on, you can be a woman?  O.O
