Yeah, since it doesn't rewrite your autosave until the load screen before you talk to TIM, I always just quit my game during the Mission Complete screen so I can keep the autosave right before the praetorian and don't have to bother with the first two waves. I fight that thing all the time. I love angry Kaidan.yoshibb wrote...
Is it bad that I keep going back to that conversation to see Kaidan again, but then I get really sad because he yells at me again. *sigh* What have I done to you Bioware that you would make me suffer like this?

Did TIM really set up Horizon? I'll kill that bastard if he did

Post coital bliss take two! This time with Shep's hair down. Thought Kaidan might like to see it unbound since if you choose the bun styles she wears it 24/7.
Muse is slowly coming back. I don't have much urge to color though. Sorry for just the scribbles, ladies.
OMGosh! I wish I could draw like you!
It's great!

I fought that monstrous collector over and over thinking I had screwed up the Kaidan conversation, but that proved to be fruitless. And that monstrous collector was hard. A pile of tires just doesn't provide the protection one needs from a monstrous collector.
Ahh! I know... worst cover EVER. And I did the same thing... replayed and replayed... except I just wanted to see the scene again... it has to be my Shepard, the youtube videos are nice but it feels more real when its actually me...
But on the subject of the tires... **** YOU, BIOWARE.

There's a perfect square for kiting the praetorian (if that's the part that is annoying for you) right next to the tires. Two of the corners are the big blue/black boxes that say 3TE on them. You just gotta drag him around the square while sticking to the corners. Makes it easy.Adynata wrote...

Hah, I did too. The "old wounds" thing threw me off. I was like "did I just break up with him!?" I freaked out for a mission before I got the e-mail.
I used the "Paragon" answers at first too and Shepard started saying stuff like "I didn't want to open up old wounds..." and I was like WTF?! why would she say that!
In a 2nd time I said that I had been clinically dead for 2 years and couldn't contact him and after that he only seemed to be angry about Cerberus. I even think that his email was a bit different too...

When she read Kaidan's email 'That night meant everything to me' is when she knew they had a chance to be together again (Come on Bioware!)

Seeing the "I"m fine, don't worry about me" response from her with Thane constantly made me want to strangle her, how the hell can you be fine all the time? Last I checked you were human, Shepard, not Elcor!
Could just be me though

I really do hope they make her responses a bit more in touch with what's going on. Sometimes Shep's comments feel so out of place as if the dialogue was just an afterthought. Bioware should know by now that stuff like this matters a lot to their fans and I feel details are certainly lacking as of late. Hopefully femShep will drop her guard where Kaidan is concerned at least a little once their reunion has taken place.

I don't know I totally get that, I'm an 'I'm fine' kinda person, it would matter if my leg was hanging off I prob still say I'm fine if someone asked me.
Believe it or not I usually keep my emotions to myself and that's the way I play my canon Shep too, so responses where she spills would prob be ignored, I like the 'I was clinically dead' response because I was a bit pissed at him giving me grief because 'er helloooooo, I was dead!', if there was a [sarcastic response] option, that's the one I would have picked, so whether it annoyed me or not it was actually how I think that scene would have played out especially between two stubborn characters who both feel a bit hurt and more importantly were in company.
What I would like to see however is the option for Shep to open-up to him when they're on their own, because although she may seem hard and unbreakable on the outside everybody has someone who they can let their guard down with, mine is my bf, he's probably the only person other than my mum and dad that has seen me cry. Shep's is Kaidan, I'm not suggesting a crying fit a la Jack but just a moment of where they meet again and she says something like;
'When we saw each other on Horizon I thought I'd lost you forever, and at that point it didn't matter to me whether I came back from Omega 4 or not, because I'd already lost everything I care about, but your e-mail made me realsise that maybe, just maybe, there was something to come back for. Is there something for me to comeback for?'
All in private of course. Now laugh it up guys because that's about as soppy as you'll see me

About Horizon..... who else wanted drip acid and molten lava slowly over TIM while simaltaniously(sp) tearing him apart piece by piece after he told you he set up the whole thing:devil:
Me!!!
LOL! That's the mild version of what I wanted to do to him, God at that point I hated him so much, I don't think I've ever felt so much hatred towards anyone, real or not. I really hope we get to be an instrument in his demise in ME3, he needs to feel pain!

Yeah that's why I said a little and as far as Kaidan is concerned
I can't see Shepard ever dropping her guard like that in public, but in private with the man she loves and trust? Why not?

The way she was animated as she sat down against the lockers was really well done and showed more emotion than words ever could.

Yes! Loved that scene, thought it really said a lot about their relationship and the almost kiss! *swoon*
In relation to Thane, never really paid much attention to what was said to him, guess I just wasn't all that interested, so def an 'I'm fine' moment!

For an introverted person, writing that is brave. Wether it has your actual name atached to it or not doesn't realy matter. I hear ya btw
And yes, after this blatant neglecting of ME1 li fans, they'd better write in a solid chance to make ammends!

Indeed...most of her Paragon answers seem to indicate like nothing touches her and she is there just to pat people on the back and never feel a thing herself. After Horizon, she could've at least smashed something out of frustration or bury her head into her palms for a while when sitting in her cabin...not just chatting "Yeah well it was good to see Alenko, we talked..." with Joker.
It really does bother me how Joker and Kelly seem to be the only people who even acknowledge her connection to Kaidan. Altough I never even tried to pursue any of the ME2 romances so I don't know if they ask about him?
Do they?

It's odd, but Shepard staring at Kaidan's pic to me is really the only time I feel she lets go a little. Even the romance scenes couldn't compare...funny really
I think she does let go but only ever in little ways and even then only if you pick the right options, at the lockers she opens up enough to show her frustration and to kiss him, it's only Joker's interruption that stops them, the discussion on Horizon, where she gets frustrated at Kaidan saying he doesn't trust her, the love scene when she tells him he makes her feel like she can take on the universe and the love scene itself, when she stares at the pic.
I agree that the one I found most emotional was staring at the pic but I do thing the others are examples of her letting go a little.
