For an introverted person, writing that is brave. Wether it has your actual name atached to it or not doesn't realy matter. I hear ya btw :)

And yes, after this blatant neglecting of ME1 li fans, they'd better write in a solid chance to make ammends!

Lol emotionally introverted maybe Posted Image

But I doubt there's anyone who even remotely knows me would describe me as introverted!

I have hope though, they're building for something good!

Do they?

No, I was flirting with Garrus and nothing, Tali doesn't come til later so I can understand that one, guess the others wouldn't know about him or would pretend not to

They are in a war situation, uncertain about anything, far away from home. The notion that they will probably die lingers on everybodies mind, making the atmosphere unusualy tense.

Fear is like a virus among the crew, it lies dorment with everybody waiting for a trigger. It takes just one person to panic a little and ship-wide morale comes crashing down like a house of cards.

It's Shepards duty to stay strong and safeguard Morale. She, as the unquestioned leader of the mission, serves as an example. Wether the crew realizes that or not.

I think it's hard to live with such tension, such fears, and allowing yourself to dwell too much on your personal feelings. It's even dangerous. I understand her posture, though I agree we're left in the dark a bit, untill she went to look at the picture that is Posted Image

Though who's to say that's NOT productive?

I do the same thing...it's kinda downhill after Horizon...everything else seems dull cause you know there is no more Kaidan and you keep going back to the email. What spurs me on is the picture scene...not as good as interacting with Kai Kai but it at least gives me a reason to finish the game.

I fought that monstrous collector over and over thinking I had screwed up the Kaidan conversation, but that proved to be fruitless. And that monstrous collector was hard. A pile of tires just doesn't provide the protection one needs from a monstrous collector.

And for some reason it always bears down on my Shep...never goes after my squad members. I was very thankful for the particle beam...best weapon in the game in my opinion.

As of right now Kaidan is tied with Miranda...they're both trailing you know who...Tali.

I really do hope they make her responses a bit more in touch with what's going on. Sometimes Shep's comments feel so out of place as if the dialogue was just an afterthought. Bioware should know by now that stuff like this matters a lot to their fans and I feel details are certainly lacking as of late. Hopefully femShep will drop her guard where Kaidan is concerned at least a little once their reunion has taken place.

I don't know I totally get that, I'm an 'I'm fine' kinda person, it would matter if my leg was hanging off I prob still say I'm fine if someone asked me.

Believe it or not I usually keep my emotions to myself and that's the way I play my canon Shep too, so responses where she spills would prob be ignored, I like the 'I was clinically dead' response because I was a bit pissed at him giving me grief because 'er helloooooo, I was dead!', if there was a [sarcastic response] option, that's the one I would have picked, so whether it annoyed me or not it was actually how I think that scene would have played out especially between two stubborn characters who both feel a bit hurt and more importantly were in company.

What I would like to see however is the option for Shep to open-up to him when they're on their own, because although she may seem hard and unbreakable on the outside everybody has someone who they can let their guard down with, mine is my bf, he's probably the only person other than my mum and dad that has seen me cry.  Shep's is Kaidan, I'm not suggesting a crying fit a la Jack but just a moment of where they meet again and she says something like;

'When we saw each other on Horizon I thought I'd lost you forever, and at that point it didn't matter to me whether I came back from Omega 4 or not, because I'd already lost everything I care about, but your e-mail made me realsise that maybe, just maybe, there was something to come back for.  Is there something for me to comeback for?'

All in private of course.  Now laugh it up guys because that's about as soppy as you'll see mePosted Image

Well I'm not laughing...I get more soppy than that but I think your Shep response is very fitting...I love it. And about saying everything is fine when it's not...I do the same thing.

No they don't. They will say something if you are romancing someone else on the ship, but nothing about Kaiden or Liara. Garrus has a good dodge if he thinks you are romancing Thane. But even if you bring Garrus on Horizon, Garrus doesn't bring up Kaiden. A huge oversight by the writers, imho.

I like that Shepard is tough on the outside and so calm under pressure. The opening scene where the Normandy is attacked, there she is calmly putting on her helmet while everyone else is panicing.  It is part of  what makes her such a great leader and its also why having a romance option like Kaiden is so important to her as a character.

Trying to keep up with all polls etc where I can vote on Kaidan and it seems you guys are too, he seems to come out well votewise and not surprisingly a lot of Kaidan was dull going on still. Heh. Some things never change.

Funny that you mentioned the polls since that's where I was and I was about to post this...anyway

Poll report:

For those that voted (or didn't) for romance most wanted in ME3

Tali is still in the lead at 30% with 38 votes.

However, as of this moment Kaidan has pulled ahead of Miranda for second place at 20% with 26 votes to Miranda's 18% at 23 votes.

You can find the poll here:
http://social.biowar...975/polls/2074/

If you feel like getting even you might check out this poll:

Eh, I always vote in those polls just to be counted, but I'm not really worried about it, at this point.  Either Bioware is going to keep their word about giving the ME1 love interests a satisfying role in ME3, or they're going to make the mistake of thinking that the forum population speaks for ALL Mass Effect fans and make the game a Tali dating sim.  I just enjoy chatting in this thread with other Kaidan fans.  If the devs are paying attention, that's a bonus.  :)

Oh not worried about polls and the effect they have, I just love seeing Kaidan do well in em for a change. It's a personal thing hehe.
You're right about the Tali thing, I shudder to think what ME3 could become if it worked like that lol

I got my official cannon Shep started in ME2 now. 100% paragon from ME1. 100% loyal to Kaidan. Vanguard in both. I even finally got some screenies that I'll be sharing...eventually. :)

I also thought it was odd that Garrus never mentions the events on Horizon once you return to the Normandy.  I liked that he tries to defend you while actually on Horizon, but I expected more conversations about it later on.

No, Anderson doesn't respond any differently to you once you beat the game.  I hoped after destroying the collector ship he might believe that my FemShep was not working for Cerberus and tell me a bit more about Kaidan, but no such luck. :(

Never got that myself, I think that if you either have Miranda or Jacob with you they say something. At least Garrus never defended my Shep and that's the only explanation I can think of. Who did you bring?

I brought Garrus and Mordin.  I thought Mordin might have interesting/useful things to say about the Collectors.

Anyone notice that ash is pretty low on that poll? That is disappointing. One shebis a great character. I liked her a lot better than Miranda. Two there's no Kai Kai without ash.

Garrus says something like "you're too focused on cerberus, Kaiden you don't see the real threat" you can watch it here:
