Every time he gets something going right in his life it gets ripped out from under him...I'm surprised he isn't a basket case by now...especially being a L2 biotic. Sometimes I wonder if he subconsciously kept the L2 implant as a way to punish himself for what happened with Vrynnus and Rahna. I know on the surface it's a stronger implant that the L3 but maybe somewhere underneath it all maybe he wanted to punish himself with the headaches and such(or maybe he's just kinky..I don't know).

What about Shep?  Mine has not only been through Akuze, but her parents were killed by slavers....then she defeats a reaper and is a) killed by the collectors, dumped by her boyfriend who thought she was dead, and c) sent through the Omega 4 to face the Stay-Puff-Marshmallow-Reaper (sorry, that's what the human reaper reminded me of).

I think she deserves not only a lot of TLC, but a frickin' happy ending and I want a beautiful sunset with it, dagnab it!!

:lol:I've been calling that frackin final boss a cross between Terminator and the Stay-Puff-Marshmallow man for a while now...I can't help it...every time I play I laugh when I see the thing. 

I don't think Shep's character in any of the backgrounds you choose is someone that would internalize to the point of punishing themselves. Shep has suffered no doubt...I just don't think she would punish herself for it...she moves past the guilt. My Shep was earthborn and sole survivor...but yeah, I think Shep deserves a happy ending with Kai Kai.

Let's see... my Shepard was also Sole Survivor and Earthborn. Like everyone here, I'd say it would be nice just to have a good ol happy ending for Shepard and Kaiden (and heck... everyone else). They'd get a pet Varren as their first big step towards a long relationship.

I... would've probably done terrible saving Kaiden if he had been taken on Horizon. At the time I didn't know there was a time limit to save the crew... needless to say my first playthrough wasn't so great.

just a weird thought....someone mentioned in either this thread or another thread something about Bridal armor that Shep would wear were she to marry. Has anyone else tried to picture what that would look like? bridal armor? hah!!



Happy Ending would be nice...doesn't even have to end in a wedding or engagement for me, just them being together and staring out the window if the ship at the stars, safe and taking comfort in the knowledge that they'll face whatever comes next together...

I purposely toasted the crew...Chakwas too?...yes Chakwas too...I would have liked to have saved her, but well it was a sacrifice I was willing to make. The engineers worked for Cerberus and didn't even know anything about them. The cook was all proud to work for Cerberus and Kelly was just flat out starstruck with Shepard. Yeah, I'm bitter...I wanted my old crew back...what can I say so I sent them off alone to their fate.

I got a slight hint from my roommate while I was playing. He had finished a few days before me, and he asked where I was. He then warned me to be very careful about advancing the main plot too far. So, I just ignored the derelict reaper for about two days while I did every single side quest and explored. By the time I finished the derelict, the only thing left to do was to head to Legion's side quest.

Bridal armor? that's interesting...actually I'd like to Shep in something more along the lines of what Liara was wearing...maybe a little more festive for a wedding if they had one. Kaidan doesn't have to wear anything...anything at all.

When I saw the launch trailer where it showed Ashley being bitten by one of those Collector insects, I was sure that we were going to have to save Ash/Kaidan from the Collectors, and that would be the reason they couldn't join us for ME2.



Then I saw a video of Kaidan meeting Shepard on Horizon before the game came out, and I was more than a little upset...that was it??? A five minute meeting, and you don't even get to fully explain what has happened to you?



I've gotten over it, and I understand that having Ash/Kaidan stolen by the collectors wouldn't have been very exciting or caused worry in the player when the devs had already said that they planned to keep them safe for ME3...so there would not have been any sense of danger if they were taken.



I still think the Horizon meeting kind of sucked, and I hated that my Shepard had no way to express what she really felt through dialogue to Kaidan, but I'm willing to give the writers the benefit of the doubt...for now. Those who stayed faithful to their ME1 love interest really deserve a big payoff in ME3. The second game just wasn't as much fun because of Horizon.

Yeah I saved all of them went from IFF ship to Legions quest then straight to Omega 4

Yes you can. Only Lillith got toasted on my playthrough. I even managed to save all my squad members. (But my poor Shep would ensure just about anyone would survive.)

I think when you first get the quest to be able to get the IFF, Miranda and Jacob get into an argument about whether you should keep building up the team or keep going. So for me that tipped me off that I needed to finish building my team if that's the route I wanted to take.

Unless I'm just confused and that happened at some other point...in which case I'm full of crap. Apparently it is lacking a certain something that makes me play parts over and over and over again...
