You don't have to have one now, they hae avatars for ME2 on the avatar page for registered game owners, which, since you're on this board, means you.  You can technically have one now.

probably will be the same as in ME 1 and ME 2
but it would be great if there was like in DA:O kissing whenever u want

I've been trying to do this for days but the game uploader just stopped working, first it was uploading old data and data from the stand alone character creator, which I've deleted from my PC... So I dunno looks like I have backed up files on the BioWare server, or maybe the whole system is messed, or both.

Actually, Kaidan is Shepard's superior officer now. She is still a Lt. Commander. He's now a Staff Commander (1 rank below Captain.) I'd have to look at the codex entry on ranks in ME1 again but there are 2 Commanders ranks and I'm fairly certain that's how they're listed.



As for the Council and Human Spectres, if you do a playthrough as Paragon and then regain Spectre status, it makes little sense to add in another human Spectre. Their conversation with you, and reasonings behind reinstating your status actually means that they do indeed support you. They simply cannot support Cerberus. As far as the public is concerned though, the Council is behind you personally.



I could see Udina pushing for a new human Spectre, but I'm not sure about Anderson or the Council. Of course they could mix things up a bit with new information, but given what we have to work with now, it's really iffy on how it'd fit in.



Lastly, it really depends on if Kaidan wants to become a Spectre or not. His allegience is to the Alliance, first and foremost. The Council never really instilled a sense of loyalty into him like it did for Shepard. He wasn't as distrustful over them as Ashley was since he did try to see things from their perspective. But the incidents after Virmire and the events leaidng up to the final battle and then later at the intro of ME2 really really shook his confidence in the Council.



I mean afterall, what would Kaidan say?



Kaidan: Shepard, the Council and the Reaper threat. They don't take it seriously. I just... don't know...

You people are getting so hyped up for this game... now I'm going to be sorely disappointed if Bioware doesn't come through... not to mention I'm barely gonna manage the couple of years we have to wait.

Best/worst morning-after conversation ever. XD It took me a few second to know what he was saying.

Though my winning moment is just watching Shepard go she-hulk and heave Kaiden onto her shoulder on Virmire. Hopefully, if there is saving in ME3, he'll carry her instead. Kaiden may not be big, but I'm assuming he's not feather light either.

I don't know what they will do in ME3 but my bet is that you will be operating more independently like a Spectre would. I don't think either Alliance or Cerberus have the position to unite all interested parties to stand against Reapers cause I believe that's what we're going to do.

I love Kaidan and all, but the Normandy is my Sheapard's ship and there is no outranking her on it. Hell, since she's not Alliance anymore, their ranks don't matter. She has a ship, she can start calling herself Captain Shepard just because she can (at least, that is what I'd do).

Interestingly enough, the ME1 playthrough I did last week and the conversation with Shi'ara offered some interesting insight there.

In essence, she describes that you have to be strong and that you're a solider.  But later your strength of will alone will not be enough.  You'll have to become a leader to overcome later challenges.

ME2 is the prelude to what Shi'ara tells you on the Citadel, but not the conclusion.  You do give Cerberus the finger afterall.
